Morelos has already scored goals against good teams and his lack of goals against the yahoos doesn't greatly concern me. It's just a matter of time till that happens and I think it's likely more of an issue with the fans than it is with the management team.

Gerrard on the subject.

match thread (image) [FT] Rangers 3 - 1 Hearts (Kent 3, Morelos 13, Arfield 32)
JFK-1 replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
I only saw the first half which was a sterling performance. I felt we would beat them but I didn't expect it to be such a procession as it was in that first half. Yes they got a couple of chances early on which pulled a couple of saves out of McGregor but even after just watching those chances again I don't think there was much chance of beating him. He had both well covered. And don't expect to get any credit from opposing hordes for that performance. The hearts fans majority view is that all our goals were preventable for one thing. Well whoopy doo, give them the 3 points for that. All goals in every game are preventable. Also we're ordinary at best and, get this one, Beaton was on our side so they could never win. Presumably we had a whole army of Beatons officiating our 10 match unbeaten Euro run too. We're a far superior side to them and I believe we still haven't peaked. They had a good run but close to all of it was against bottom 6 sides. Yes they beat the yahoos at home but so did Kilmarnock and I don't see Killie claiming to be title challengers. Now they have been walloped by us to end their run and they still have to play the sheep and hubz this quarter. Let's see where they lie after that. -

I predicted 3-0 but it's beginning to look as if I may have been too pessimistic. -

Yep, even their fans have been talking about the need to wind him up. -

I suspect Hearts will come to defend and try to nick something on the break. An early goal or two for us will knock that on the head. -

Posted score prediction in wrong thread. -
At this point I think it's unthinkable unless they were offering 8 figures and a comparable replacement was lined up.

I think he tends to score in bursts then have barren periods but he may overcome that too.

We are exactly where he said we had to be as quickly as possible when he took over 3 years ago. He specifically mentioned initially being in the Europa league and here we are. Against all odds I might add given the view of the landscape from just 6 months ago. And not just in it making up the numbers but unbeaten in 10 games and topping a group. You have to suspect he was a huge factor in hiring Gerrard. And would have taken the flak if it quickly turned into the disaster Pedro was so deserves the credit for the way it's panning out. Coasting in Europe but stuttering away from home domestically though you would imagine that has to come right sooner or later. And let's see what it looks like once Gerrard has had another couple of windows. Give Hearts a hammering tomorrow and things will look even brighter.

They should all be cheering us on as we single handedly drive Scotland up the co-efficient rankings after years of failure from the sheep etc. Last night pushed us up one more place to 20th. Get to 15th and we would have two CL spots. Even 17th would mean our single entrant could bypass the CL first qualifying round.

I hear Brenda is complaining that it should be a neutral venue. Last I checked it is. I think i'm also right in saying that the yahoos have played as many if not more games at Hampden in the past year than Hearts have at Murrayfield. I sense the fear in Brenda these days. He may be right in covertly suggesting that Hearts get a modicum of an advantage playing at Murrayfield perhaps crowd wise. But no different from the advantage he has at Hampden where they even have an 'end' that's considered 'theirs' I hope Hearts absolutely batter them and think they can.

WELCOME to your Official Rangers Podcast ahead of what is sure to be a special night at Ibrox tomorrow, with Rapid Vienna the visitors in the UEFA Europa League. The Light Blues will be looking to get the disappointment of Sunday’s defeat to Livingston out of their system to continue their terrific European run, knowing victory puts them in a fantastic position in Group G. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/official-rangers-podcast-s2-e12-2/

SPFL set up new overseas TV deal with Qatar-based beIN SPORTS
JFK-1 replied to buster.'s topic in General Football Chat
Lot of ex pats there. Doubt you would find too many in Somalia etc. -
I believe we actually were. Saw Gerrard quoted as saying so.
-
So they would rule out Murrayfield because that would be considered a 'home' game for Hearts? So if the yahoos get Hampden that isn't a 'home' game for them? If anyone has to go elsewhere it shouldn't be us. We were the first tie drawn out and it's the second tie causing the problems.
-
Hearts in particular as far as I'm concerned must be beaten to narrow that gap and also take the wind out of their sails. If we don't beat them I don't see us winning the league.

Due to it being highlighted on TV and now in the press this type of idiot will likely have initially boasted about it and those he boasted to will have told many others so lots of people out there will know who did this.
