  1. I dunno. If money were no object I think in some years I might take a baseball bat to a few tellies over the course of a football season.
  2. It suits us. We have a couple of weeks to get him up to speed and familiarise him with what Gerrad requires of him with no risk of injury while playing for Albania.
  3. Now the window has closed and we know the squad what’s our strongest starting 11. And bench.
  4. Seems there will be 2,200 tickets for Villarreal away. Ground has a capacity of 24,980.
  5. I bet they are, jackpot.
  6. Really excited about this one. We still have others to get up to speed and combined with them he may be instrumental in making our attack as efficient as the defence. Apparently he is in the Albania squad playing Scotland on Monday night. Poor old Osijek, first we dump them out of the EL then start picking off their best players. But that's life in football. And this Albanian coach needs to learn it doesn't get much bigger than Rangers. Granted there are bigger leagues if that's what he actually means.
  7. Ally reportedly earned around a million pounds from his media work last year. There is no way he's giving that up for a relative pittance struggling to keep St Mirren out of the relegation zone. Who would give it up? Well me maybe but only if it were for a job at Rangers. https://www.alphalife.me/ally-mccoist-net-worth-biography/2
  8. And I would guess a degree of humiliation due to his families extreme poverty.
  9. Just read an article with this title. "Could Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos' comments become worrrying in future years?" http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/09/04/could-glasgow-rangers-striker-alfredo-morelos-comments-become-wo/ It's mildly critical of him saying that he wants to play in the premier league and that it should be a concern that he openly says such things but in my view I don't see why he shouldn't have such aspirations. Who wouldn't given the fabulous wealth on offer? He came from a background of extreme poverty and I would suspect that he's supporting his family right now. He has every right to harbour such dreams of fabulous wealth. He just signed a contract keeping him with us till 2022. If he can keep providing the goals we can now easily keep him for another 2 years before cashing in big time. That's enough of a payback for me before he moves on to secure the future of his family.
  10. It's ludicrous, they're a small club who have just been promoted. What do they expect? Title contenders? Top 6? None of those are going to happen no matter who they put in charge. Third bottom is their realistic best target and they're already equal on points with third bottom Hamilton. And I don't see Accies rushing to fire the manager.
  11. SFA would ban him for a week to 10 days.
  12. Rossiter a week to 10 days. For the past year or so.
  13. I just don't see it as a major setback. First game after the break which is still 17 days away will give us more of an indication of where we are. It wont be just a couple of days after a long trek into and back out of darkest Russia and it wont be following an intense schedule. And for the first time we may actually get a chance to see our strongest 11. Dundee will be the opposition at Ibrox. They should be swept aside in a crushing win.
  14. It's disappointing but it's not going to define our season. We have still to field our strongest 11 and now we have a break to regroup. I think Coulibaly could have changed the complexion of this game plus with others still to come into the mix just two or 3 changes in starting personnel can make a striking difference. I'm still confident of a good season and a run at the title.
  15. This is a hard watch for me, I would label it a cringe fest. We never look like doing anything while on the other hand i'm cringing every time they come forward which is often. And now they just scored which was always on the cards.
  16. That’s the first goal Liverpool have conceded in the opening 4 league games.
  17. Going to be a 6am kick off for me but can’t miss this.
  18. Yeah and we know how that played out ?
  19. If our guys go at them from the off the way we know they can I feel the yahoos may crumble. They and their suspect defence have faced nothing like what could be coming at them tomorrow.
  20. Chance to leap into second with a win. Sheep and hubz both beaten by also rans.
  21. I was thinking that too but surely sheer chance has to go his way sometime. Hopefully this is the time and he hits more than one to make up for the previous clangers.
  22. Apparently the new Liverpool super goalie had a clanger which lost them a goal. Trying to be too fancy with the ball at his feet in the box. Instead of just hoofing it away he tried some needless crowd pleasing fancy stuff and got caught out. Bet Klopp had something to say about that. Luckily it didn’t lose them any points.
  23. If we can actually qualify from this group while taking at least a point from Villarreal in the process heads in England may go from simply turning to full out exorcist like swiveling. We might see mid to lower table EPL sides trying to entice Gerrard away. I'm hoping that currently his only aspiration beyond Rangers is Liverpool and that's not going to be available for sometime. Klopp is contracted till 2022 and he sees out his contracts.
  24. Wish we could pull off a scam like that. Lyon have paid what I hear is almost well short of the squillions Dembele was claimed to be worth but still up around £20 million. For a player who last season scored a total of 16 goals in all competitions while playing in the well below elite level SPL and just 1 of those goals in the CL. On top of that he's constantly injured. Again, wish we could pull off a scam like that. Morelos has a better scoring record and is never injured. And is even red carded less than Dembele is injured.
