    Apologies for the univentive title. My editor normally provides the pun-tastic headline. I wanted to say this immediately on Tuesday night but thought it better to wait until the emotion of the result had worn off somewhat and we could expect more reasoned debate. I know many might think I have an issue with Miller but I make no apologies for thinking he is not up to the job of lone forward in a 4-5-1. I don't understand how you can set up a team with absolutely no attacking threat from the one forward you employ. I'm not a fan of the formation anyway as I think the way we play 4-5-1 means that only a Drogba type forward could flourish with such little support.

    Here's hoping Smith is having the same thoughts. The only thing that gets it up the *******s more than a Rangers goal is a Rangers goal by Novo!

    No, but then we didn't have a plethora of right backs and it took Hutton much longer than it should've to get the call. Same goes for CM's. Seems Rangers players have to prove their worth to get a call up, whereas any Scot pulling on the hoops automatically gets bumped into the national squad.

    Only got to the match thread after this one. Wouldn't be unhappy with that tbh. Novo arguably deserves to start more than any of the other misfiring forwards atm. Plus he's usually good for a goal against the Satan-spawn.
