    Due to the fact that they are wrapped up in the club they have to be careful about how they phrase any press releases, but I feel this is to be applauded. Ps. Please just ban the cunt! He gets free access to Ibrox to slander (or is it libel) our fans and some of us can't even afford to go.

    And that is precisely why we can't just ignore him. I also disagree that the vast majority outwith tims are smart enough to understand that he is full of shit even when you give them the facts. As an example, f enian is now accepted as sectarian. Why? Because the press said so. Most don't trouble themselves to find out what this word means, what are the connotations? Is it sectarian? They just hear it and think bigot. Whilst the agenda is set by those who are so biased and one-sided sticking our fingers in our ears and humming loudly will not suffice.

    A couple of important points there. Whoever the striker is, if the players behind him aren't performing it's difficult for any of them to do much, whether that's Boyd, Miller, Lafferty or any other.

    Is this aimed at Charlie Ridiculous. Btw, i'd happily go in and use my "expertise" to help Boyd with his training. A bit of speed and agility training for an hour or two out of my week. Nae bother. Only problem is I don't have his mobile number so can't ring up to make my once in a lifetime offer. :fish:

    Whilst Tannoch puts forward some good arguements I can't help but feel that MF's post is ultimately correct. 1 representative body, free from competition with any other such bodies and representing the fans alone (i.e. not submitting to the will of DM) is what is required.

    Cowie is fairly decent as an SPL player, outwith the OF, but shows what a state we are in that he's in the squad. Fair play to the boy though, i'm sure he's over the moon.

    I don't think merely ignoring him works. He still gets to spread his bile and he could still start another crusade like the UEFA fiasco that hurt us before. There has to be some sort of reprisal for this man's behaviour. But I don't know what it is or how we achieve it? Why do people keep employing this scrote to stir this sectarianism issue into much more than it is?

    Do we need "grounds"? Can't they just say he's persona non grata. Surely it's a private building or event or whatever and they can refuse him entry with absolutely f.a. grounds at all.

    Why is he allowed a platform to peddle his bullshit. The "sectarianism issue" is only as big as they make out in their warped little minds. In reality it is tiny. Scottish society could move on, progress and would be in a far better state if this giant c.unt of a man was not allowed to hold it back. I would laugh my ass off if he got a severe beating and ended up in a&e or worse. That's not a threat, I just wish he would get his! Edit: Forgot to add, implied threats to Nacho etc is not worse than someone using bad words? Come on now, this is a fucking farce.

    Only just read this today pete. Was busy when it was originally posted so wasn't in the mood for reading longer more involved posts. Decent bit of writing, good analogy and I guess you were proven right with last years title win. There are still games I think we'd benefit from his presence as he knows how to keep the ball. But we just won another Old Firm without him and are doing ok overall.
