  1. Exactly my view. Fucks our chances of a win, then "evens" it up once the game is effectively over.
  2. Hate that phrase. Maybe he "found his level" scoring a screaming of a goal in the Champions League against the German Champions? Well pleased for him. Keeps it up and an upper Championship team/Lower EPL team could come calling.
  3. It was Bryson. Inconsistency or out and out cheating?
  4. Conroy is a disgraceful useless bastard who has lost the plot and ruined a game of football. And sending off a Killie player for the last ten does not make up for us playing over the half game a man down. You're fooling no one ref!
  5. Sending off Boyd would have been a farce of epic proportions and anyone who even tries to argue that point has never played football.
  6. Gotta do what we did to Hearts. Roll the sleeves up. Dig in. Up the work rate and make the extra quality tell over the superor numbers. The extra quality didn't tell when we had parity of numbers. We have to get fired up.
  7. Much like last season, the authorities are trying to cheat us out of the league early doors. 3 sendings off in our first 5 games. Are we seriously expected to believe we are a dirty team. All 3 sendings off soft/questionable. Thomson. Not a great challenge. Sure seen them given, but early doors you normally "get away with it". Bougherra, 2 yellows for dissent. How many times have we seen Lennon, Sutton, McDonald etc screaming in a ref/linesman's face with no repercussions. And today. Mendes. First challenge a little late perhaps. But not dangerous and not convinced it was a yellow. Looks like an example of a ref who has never played the game. To be sent off for two fairly innocuous challenges. How did the rugby tackle on Novo go unpunished then. If we start sending people off for the above example, particularly today we'd never finish a game with 11 men on the park. Though maybe that's the point.
  8. Hateley talking sense on ESPN! Said it starts and ends with the manager. He should have held his hand up and gone. Both him and Hendry saying we're not in a position to do what we did with McGregor and Ferguson. Burley GTF.
  9. Check out the thread I posted on Boyd's complete record. Only missed one game through suspension during his time at Ibrox (Motherwell a - 30 July 2006) Has only missed 5 games through injury - all in the period 9/12/06 to 27/12/06 incl. Has played in 155 out of Rangers 191 competitive games since he came to Ibrox. To claim he has not played a large proportion of our games since arriving, as the article clearly does, is bullshit. Do your research journos. Edit: UCB I think you see now I wasn't slagging Ian.
  10. What might the Walter of now do with the team of then?
  11. When I saw SSN earlier Boogie's goal was streaking ahead in their goal of the week poll. McCulloch was in it for his goal in the season opener. And I think Whittaker's after the one-two with Davis was as well. "Anti football"???
  12. An odd article coming off the back of Boyd saying that the draw in Europe was more important than him getting a game.
  13. Check the OP mate. Takes into account the same 5 year period UEFA use for ranking teams. So even accounting for the disaster of Kaunus we've still contributed over 50% of the total coefficient points for Scotland. When you consider Kaunus the numbers are even more damning for the rest of Scotland, not us.
  14. Update of post 12: Rangers 5.0 Motherwell 2.0 Falkirk 1.0 Hearts 1.0 Celtic 1.0 Aberdeen 0.0 Total 10. Average just 1.66. Thats what gets added to the countries coefficient so far this year due to the number of teams who competed but barely contributed.
  15. Thought the OP was worthy of a wee bump considering this European midweek. When will the rest of Scottish football start pulling their weight?
  16. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Results first, then performance. Never mind all this "celtic way" pish. We'll keep collecting these: :spl: Whilst they keep congratulating themselves for the way they go about getting beat. Self praise is no praise at all.
  17. You sound like me. :spl:
  18. "Ha ha Samaras". :spl:
  19. Adding insult to injury. Or injury to insult.
  20. A bit premature for this perhaps, but ahead of our next CL tie who else would "take a draw" if it was offered right now? By my reckoning, and that of the bookies and football experts the continent over who expected us to be well beaten last night, I would say we have gained a point. We were expected to leave Germany with a defeat and no points. We are 1 point ahead on the projected score cards. Given that fact and that Sevilla are a fantastic side; recently won and retained the UEFA Cup and finished 3rd in La Liga last year, littered with top class talent like Fabiano and Kanoute, I would take a draw. Some people may see that as defeatist but I think, realistically it would not be a terrible result and I would take the draw.
  21. Aye, you can't discount your Unirea Urziceni's or Hapoel Tel Aviv's because of the league they come from.
  22. Here's hoping they're feeling worse after 04/10/09. :spl:
  23. Got my vote in.
  24. Where's that damn poster when you need it.
