  1. Aye. That's why I said leanings and didn't refer to them as fans. Bit disappointing the way he's went. I guess he felt he had to do it for the sake of his career?
  2. No idea on that one. Hopefully someone else can confirm. Didn't know about Ian King but was under the impression both Darryls, King and Broadfoot, had Rangers leanings.
  3. Ha ha, I don't believe so. It's not 100% that his source is king. However i've seen a couple of posters make that claim and no one has challenged it. Edit: Sent him a pm to see if he'll confirm. While doing this I noticed his current activity as shown on his profile was viewing a thread about Darryl King. the plot thickens, maybe it is Darryl.
  4. Aye, our media and association are just as quick to go into bat to get us censored as they are to protect the interests of Celtic.
  5. Ha ha. Fair play for being a good sport.
  6. Is it just me or does he look like a bit of a scary fucker. He's got mad eyes or something.
  7. About sums it up for me. Given the circumstances I want to say yes, but not signing a CB is criminal gamble imo. Unless Wilson is going to play and fit in like a seasoned pro. Thought option 4 was the closest to my opinion though,
  8. Overall good news I guess. Reduced day to day running costs. Hardly, if at all, reduced quality of the first XI, though the squad is weaker in quantity and perhaps slightly in quality. Have we got the balance between finances and on-field matters right? I hope so. Should prob add I believe his source is Darryl King.
  9. From the guy who first broke the Rothen story on FF last night:
  10. You know me. :spl: But i'm feeling pretty good for the rest of the season after today. Will get writing the positive articles for the rest of them to gripe at!
  11. Agree with your concerns though the games he misses for the African Nations do not overly concern me:
  12. Thought Celtic had realised their error with Scott Brown.
  13. Ha ha, two cracking responses mate. In all seriousness, keeping those 4 or 5 big names was huge for us. Well, at least it feels that way after all the shite in the media.
  14. From a different poster on the same website:
  15. Kris Boyd is still the Rangers number 9. :box: Hopefully he will become the top scorer in the SPL (in its current format) by Xmas. Only about 13 goals to go. Looking forward to Rothen's delivery for Boyd to thrive on. No Boogie, Mendes or any of the other big players out the door. Hopefully we wont suffer from not bringing in a centre back. Bring on the CL and number 53! :spl:
  16. Re-joined Newcastle. Good luck to him.
  17. Ha ha. Hope this is another Donati-esque blunder.
  18. No time surely?
  19. Would be a very odd statement to make.
  20. Does anyone know exactly what his preferred position is. Seen disagreements between left mid in a 4-4-2 or left of attack in 4-3-3. Is he adept in both roles (should be really imo).
  21. Wtf? Where'd you get that?
  22. China captain. Contract ran out at Charlton. Buying players on marketability rather than footballing abillity again. I don't think Du Wei nor Nakamura really made them anything much.
  23. I dont see it happening now. Madness. If Rothen can recapture previous form he'll prove a useful player. I still think if we were only bringing one in though, it should have been a CB.
  24. The list of those who went on to greener pastures is far, far, far shorter than the list of those who didn't. When the Boogie to Villa rumour surfaced my first thought was that Smith should say take a look at Carlos and then think again Madjid.
  25. Wouldn't be hard. But if Boyd was to have his best year yet (again) we'll be toasting number 53. :spl:
