  1. Not long in and saw this bombshell on Sky sports! Bit of a shock, no? Anyone give a quick summary as to who Johsnton is and what he might bring?
  2. Frankie are you gonna sort it so it plays when you open the website again?
  3. What inflated value have our press given him? Some Ronnie Cully maths? If Lescott is valued at £24 mil than McManus is £300mil?
  4. More millions to be earned from the far east?
  5. Their draw is the following day. :spl:
  6. Due to start about 5pm our time, but never runs on time does it?
  7. How good is that to read. Finally a team/squad with mental toughness. Quite enjoyed that report, shockingly. Didn't try to make out we got all the decisions. In fact quite the opposite. Said Thommo shouldn't have walked, there were equally bad fouls and that it was a pen.
  8. No worries. Just had a look at the first link again there, the linesman's position could not have been any better.
  9. Despite Boyd not being picked as he wasn't playing regularly for his club (even though he was) the number of players who aren't playing regular club football and still getting picked grows: Gordon Fletcher McFadden Hartley Iwelumo McManus? Gordon again? If you weren't such an incompetent, alcoholic arse you could have the best striker in Scotland available for must-win games.
  10. How can you be positive about this charlatan and not some of other players?
  11. I reserve the right to agree with this post, but only when it suits my arguement.
  12. Your perfect eyesight missed that shocking typo!
  13. Got to agree with Frankie. Weir. Though Smith changed the game and could have been him.
  14. Cheers Ian. I asked about this in the match thread but no one noticed. Granted it doesn't matter now. Just best to remember this as no doubt the papers will be full of how we got all the decisions. After last year where Celtic probably earned at least 15 points due to dodgy decisions in their games or ours I think it's worth keeping an eye on.
  15. After Gattuso and Gio it becomes very hard to think of any. There's more to life than money.
  16. 8 Scots today guys. Only Boogie, Davis and Papac of the starters were from out with our borders. The two subs coming on were Scottish too. 10 of the 13 players today. Did that have an impact upon the fighting spirit demonstrated by the team today? Edit: Including Thommo as sub, last week it was 10 of 12 players used.
  17. Credit where it's due. 2 games, 2 goals. No better an example that it is a squad game than this. With such a small squad this year we will need guys like McCulloch to play their part and with Thommo, Edu and Mendes all missing games early this season his contribution has been welcome. I have heard question marks over his positioning, but with the holding midfield role being new to him I guess it is to be expected and hopefully he can continue to minimise the loss of so many central midfield players.
  18. From NOTW.
  19. From the Telegraph.
  20. Rumours Davenport's sister's boyfriend was taken in for questioning.
  21. Reputedly posted on KDS by a poster with 7k-odd posts. We saw it, Celtic fans could see it, but our press could not see that Boogie had a better season than Clodwell. As did Weir and numerous others.
  22. I dont mind too much Celtic picking up a couple of coefficient points to boost the national ranking. Just not too many to boost their own standing or earn too much money. Can't decide precisely what i'd like in the draw. Best chance of qualifying - Munich pot 1 (can't get Wolfsburg in pot 4). Hopefully be pot 2. Most money/coefficient points earned too. Or Big clashes - Madrid, maybe an English team. Or Best chance of making an away game - Seville, my dad lives there.
