  1. A lot of this is out of order imo. Doesn't deserve personal insults.
  2. What suprise inclusion? Everyone picked it as Smith's potential "suprise".
  3. Why he plays on the left I don't know. A lack of pace/acceleration. Everytime he gets near to his fullback or opposition defender he tries to flick the ball inside with the outside of his right boot and they take the ball off him like taking candy from a baby. And I mean EVERY time. Watch it again (if your a masochist) it's embarrassing.
  4. Teach Jack the words? (Sorry couldn't resist).
  5. [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ubr5-gEY3uA&feature=related]YouTube - Rangers fc We'll be with you[/ame]
  6. The Popey Cokey
  7. Bring it on! Gonna have to get up "early" to get some more beers in. Most the xmas beers is away already. Barry owes us another performance against the tims. They'll be giving it the usual noise about Brown or Hartley, time for Ferguson who for once is supported by another quality player to show them who's the daddy! lol
  8. Some profit! We can rely on Ewan Chester though!
  9. Man U, Chelsea Palace Already up. Crappy odds obviously. Kidderminster stiffed my other coupon already.
  10. Gribz I'd play Novo, but only in a 4-4-2 with him on the left. No need to split up the front 2. No need to change from 4-4-2. It's not the perfect scenario but it's the best option we have imo. As I say though, 90% certain Lafferty will start left with an outside chance of Adam as the "suprise".
  11. Aye. WIth the current team and tactics its hard to find him a regular game (like Gribz I think he's our best bet at LM atm but would want a proper midfielder/winger there). But you also have to remember it is a squad game and Novo will be relatively inexpensive in terms of wages. Pete has a point. Wanting Novo to stay may in part just be sentimentality, he's a likeable player for his attitude and what he produces. However that money could maybe buy us a young upcoming player from Holland for example.
  12. Kind of agree Pete. But the thing about Boyd's inclusion is that with his goal scoring prowess, even if he's not on the end of every chance, such is his striking ability with the Celtic defence concentrating on him it may leave more room and space for Miller and the midfield.
  13. Like gisa and Gribz think I would be disappointed to see the wee man go. Should make a list of the big goals he's scored. There's loads. OF goals. Goals that have put us into the CL proper. That Fiorentina penalty.
  14. Have to say, pleasantly suprised by his assessment of the opposing squads in this fixture. Honest assessment of Nakamura's contribution to this fixture, Boruc's overrated ability and talk of Brown not doing enough in these fixtures.
  15. Agree wtd, the defence will be much stronger with him in it and Broadfoot out on the right.
  16. Your making it too complicated guys. It would be like any other competition where you register players to take part. Any registered player is available for that league. Chances are with 2 leagues, UEFA may consider it two different teams so registered players could only play for the "a" side in the Atlantic league or the "b" side in the SPL. Anyone know how it works in terms of players playing for Spanish B sides in their lower divisions?
  17. Post what you like. Just wanted an excuse to watch some classic OF clips in anticipation for the game. Hopefully get a few new videos to watch.
  18. Getting in the mood for Saturday. Everyone post and Old Firm goal: [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=48wW984rORg]YouTube - Barry Ferguson Freekick In 2002 Scottish Cup Final[/ame]
  19. Not for the first time, the Irish press say what our own press should be: http://www.independent.ie/lifestyle/put-your-leg-in-it-1583540.html Though our press should not instigate such nonsense in the first place. If even the Irish themselves can see it, is it not about time our media and politicians ceased with this perverse mock outrage on behalf of the Irish RCs?
  20. Another 4-2 vid. Prefer the earlier one and not sure about the music, but it's still good to enjoy the highlights and uses different angles for some of the goals: [ame=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge3TefESZGI]YouTube - Rangers crush shambolic Celtic 4-2 at Parkhead[/ame]
  21. It appears not. Anti-Celtic stories (even true ones) rarely appear in our media.
  22. Although Gribz point may make what i'm about to say impossible, but might having a second string playing in the SPL allow us to properly develop youth players and benefit from Murray Park. With our youths now competing regularly with some senior players in the top division in the country. Or would the lack of money and appeal to the SPL of the OF plying their trade elsewher severly dent the quality of the league and nullify the impact of regular first team football in the SPL?
  23. Bert Mitchell is not a familiar name, but one I will learn to be wary of in future.
  24. You're not the only one. Most anticipation of a game in a long time.
  25. A little of both I think. I believe a small number had suggested singing a modified version at Boruc for dropping the ball at Miller's feet last time out. However I don't believe the intentions were sinister. A small number proposing an idea on FF is some distance away from an organised campaign for a song which as of yet had not been sung in any case.
