  1. They never do, do they?
  2. Sorry he's second most succesful isn't he. Momment of madness on my part. Still his record is deserving of some respect.
  3. That sees there lead cut to just 2 points surely Chick. Nothing like a positive spin on it though
  4. Reading through some of the opinions here i'm left wondering what colour the sky is in your worlds. You do not get to niar, a game away from the CL final and the UEFA final by being completely useless. I'm not saying he is infallable but some respect for our most succesful manager ever please?
  5. What the fuck is all this about? I agree with the sentiments of the post, but here your essentially saying the fans should tell Smith and McCoist who to pick. Strange.
  6. 9 points in these games is what I want and expect. Back when I first watched Rangers i'd expect and they'd usually deliver 9. They're obviously feeling the pressure at aberdeen (kiss of death), lets hope the sheep don't capitulate. As has been said above, with us playing before them each game we need to win and see how they deal with the pressure.
  7. GOt a small win with Rangers, Hibs, Chelsea, Man U so got a bit lucky there. And in a change in form, the one that lost wasn't by 1 team/goal. Was a woeful coupon that included Wycombe (home v bottom of the table Grimsby) who lost, Reading (away to Swansea) lost and Peterhead (home to Alloa with one away point all season and Peterhead one of the form teams) who drew. Also had Rangers man u chelsea as "banker" wins. Only "dodgy" one as far as I saw was Reading. Favourites away to mid table swansea though who are draw specialists but I thought second placed Reading who again are the form team in the league would put an end to that.

Frankly bullshit, the last comment is particularly childish. It seems your team would be made up of a keeper, 9 pansies who can't tackle and only pass backwards and Sebo. I was not comparing Boyd and Hemdani's deficiencies. I was comparing the fact that one has their negative aspects overlooked because of (a comparatively very small) positive, whilst the other's huge positives (doing the thing that wins games) is overlooked to attack his deficiencies. I don't care what anyone says (and i'm not asking for a Terry Hurlock) but a defensive midfielder/centre bacl who cannot/refuses to tackle, not to mention header, nor make a forward pass is nigh on useless. If we expect Boyd to be the complete player in his position, why do we not expect the same from the frenchman?
  9. It's no the same circumstances as Le Guen then as he got sacked for being incompetent in his job! :box:
  10. I'd probably not want any of them either, just looking for a realistic option who would/could be more succesful.
  11. If we're gonna look at Gough as a relatively inexpensive risk, bearing in mind you think (and I agree) we'd struggle to get a name from abroad, then why not Levein? Would almost certainly do a better job.
  12. If only some people realised Rangers are one of those clubs.
  13. 2 years for putting the boot into Lennon. Is it worth it?

But if you can't tackle your a god awful defensive mid/centre back. Noone said anything about Terry hurlock. That's a pathetic attempt to deflect from the glaring deficiencies of a sevrely limited football. But he comes from france and is a big pansy (sorry skillful player) so we'll ignore the fact that women footballers could bully him out of a game. I don't like to be so headstrong and refuse to consider other people's opinions but the Hemdani ass-kissing is dumfounding. if you're going to slag players for not being well rounded Hemdani should be near the top of the list. The only reason people love him is for the same reason they hate Fergie, simple posession football, go figure. Ps Craig take your point about Fergie, but Hemdani appear criticism immune by comparison. I think some people forget football is a contact sport. If it were not then BH would be the player people make out.
  15. If we'd won the league last year who would care about our results against them (although of course to an extent the latter influences the former). We are not measured on our results against the Arab, though I take the point of the rest of your post.

What I don't understand from the Hemdani fan club can be summed up using Boyd as an example. You wouldn't overlook Boyd's deficiencies because he bangs in an obscene amount of goals, so why is it ok to overlook Hemdani's glaring deficiencies (the main one being he cant/refuses to make a tackle) because he can play short passes back or sideways?

I dont understand the clamour for him to play. I understand the clamour for a fast, attacking winger who will run at his opposite fullback to play. Unfortunately the second statement does not describe Beasley and when people talk of him as such I think they must be watching a different player. Naismith, Novo and potentially Aaron could provide the qualities I mention though. If I thought he would command a fee he would be first out the door for me.
  18. DJ, also noticed a few others wearing cantebury wooly hats in warm ups and on the bench recently.
  19. More into rugby are they not? Not really sure what their gear is like.
  20. True, but Miller is a slightly different case. Many overstate his performances to prove how enlightened we are and how bigotry is diminishing at the club. As I said elsewhere, Miller has gone rapidly downhill since a reasonable start, but many are scared to treat him like the rest of the squad for fear of being brandished a bigot.
  21. Hemdani is probably the most over rated player we've had in my time watching Rangers. His contribution takes on mythical proportions because of how bad the rest of the squad were.

Can't agree here at all. Shirks his responsibility in this respect.
  23. Tbh MF i've always wondered what he has that many sunday league footballers don't? Hard work (who doesn't have that?) and a little pace, but certainly nothing electric or that will really make the difference at the top level.
  24. Well it didn't work out that way last night. And how anyone can say Miller had a good game I don't know. After an initial purple patch is playing exactly how most of us worried he would.
  25. I agree with all that. Just to pick up on the Boyd/Miller point though. In the first half it was Boyd chasing back and harrying defenders, as much as his pace or fitness allows. So when we regained possession Miller was the focal point of the attack. Whose fault was that tactical blunder. Rather than playing to our strengths we were playing to our weaknesses!
