For once i'm going to join Gribz in the conspiracy theories (first and last time). But maybe they're getting exactly the response they want. There was no one particularly interested in singing a childs song at the match until the papers broke this. Ewan Cameron claimed on real radio some fans were planning to sing it to wind up Boruc for spilling the ball in the last OF. Possibly true. The RC's and the media claim it is to be sung for sinister reasons. Whether or not it was actually intended to be sung at all. Now thousands who would have had no idea about this Boruc wind up (if it even existed) will be duped into joining in on the 27th so the RC's and papers can go "see we told you they were all big bad bigots, ban them, deduct points, fine them, give them all banning orders". I wouldn't be suprised. On another related note, also heard some of that idiot MSP on the radio. Apparently he his heavily involved with sporting matters in parliament, his own words. Well he's clearly not fit for his role and if he had any humility would step down now. THough he couldn'd dare risk someone who wasn't a bigot with RC leanings having his influential position.

FWIW, I was for the Burley appointment from the original list of candidates. He has however, shown himself to be unequal to the task.

This was done to death at the time. Burley's comments did not stand up to any scrutiny. Said Boyd was not playing regularly (factually incorrect) when iwelumo had not played his teams last 3 games or so. Others such as McFadden and D Fletcher get picked time and again regardless of game time for their club, or form. McFadden especially has been shit in most recent National games. Said Boyd had not proved himself at club level, then played Fletcher (need I say more) and Iwelumo, who had demonstrated no goal scoring talent at club level until this season. You could go on and on. When you add this to Burely piss poor man management (look at the Broadfoot situation) and the foolish and down-right negative comments he makes in the media regarding his players and it's not difficult to see why Boyd told him to shove it. Boyd may not have come out of it smelling of roses, but it is Burley who should suffer the greatest embarrassment from this.

The last one was quite good. McManus/Caldwell ripping the shirt off Cousins back. Throwing the ball at the linesman for rightly giving a feekick for said offence. McManus and Caldwell constantly smashing COusin through the back of the head in aerial jousts, yet Cousin seeing red for battling back. JVoH sending off for the kick. The ref "could have given it" as ref's are frequently wrong. WOuld be a scandal imo. Good defending got his body between attacker and ball fairly, Gerrard didn't have the pace to get by him and launched himself into the box. Agree with the other points tho.
