I hear Hutton got MotM at Ibrox, didn't hear it being announced. Who got it from Setanta?
-
I wouldn't argue with anyone picking any of the outfield players. I do not discount AM due to a bad performance. For all our domination he had to make a crucial save from the Jap that would have unfairly allowed them back in. But due to the performances of the rest of the team that is all AM had to do. Best game from Papac, Weir his usual self. Ehiogu looked more comfortable. Hemdani keeps churning out performances. Barry ran the show first half. Thommo completed the domination of their midfield 3. Adam scored and overall played well. Novo was everywhere and got an assist, and Boyd did what he does best. Tbh the poll winner could be any of Hutton, Fergie and Weir imo. Was Lennon given POTM from Kingston this month? Read rumours this was to happen. Why can't a player win it two month's in a row if he deserves it which AH does. Scotland play a friendly 30th May v Austria and quite simply Alan Hutton has to play. That's not just make the squad, he has to start.

No arguments there Frankie. You the one who voted BF then as I voted AH and that was the only other vote.

Just have to say that I am absolutely over the moon that KB has bagged a goal v the mhankies. And not just because I had him first scorer. We all know what he needs to work on, but the man knows his business and that is scoring goals. Best striekr in the country, hope he gets a lot more v them. About 58 behind Larsson in the all time SPL (in its current reincarnation) scoring charts, hopefully another two seasons should see that beaten. Loved him celebrating with Ally, the current main man celebrating with the past master. Brilliant

Not sure. I Know on other sites you can get the site in trouble or get banned, so didn't want to get any grief for admin or from admin. Fuck it, i'll post them here, if that's not allowed admin can remove and hopefully wont get a ban: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_V6_NX3Cw0 Edit: http://video.tinypic.com/player.php?v=4uxwnj4 Video of Adams goal, pretty good for a mobile phone vid.

Said all along that he is over rated due to the mhanks not having had even an average keeer in my lifetime previously. He's good, but he's not the world beater some make out and I think Boyd's goal today and Ugo's last time out show that to some extent.
-
I have a link to them from youtube, can I post it admin? IF not will pm anyone who ask for them.
-
Said on another thread, its a toughie basically anyone could get it. Hutton edges it I guess. WHo got MoM at the stadium?
-
Didn't have time to do my research so chucked a fiver on Boyd first goal. Wish it had been more.
-
Agreed Uefa are an embarassment.
-
In the process of winning their league. Were 3 goals up at the start of the day. We're winning 3-0, og Fleck Lennon, mhanks getting beat 3-2. Must be near FT. Well done the u19s on a double. Edit: Update Mhanks lost 3-2 Lowing scores a pne 4-0.

The More Things Change, The More The Remain The Same

Is that correct about Murray owning Murray Park? That sounds ridiculous now I look at it as it looks obvious, but I though it was just named in his "honour" and I assumed the club owned it?- 16 replies

Obviously Fergie coming deep ruins the game plan, no arguemenst tehre. But if one of the other midfielders could find a forward pass to give him the ball maybe he wouldn't come deep? He seems to drop deeper the longer a game goes on and that's a sign of frustration at seeing little of the ball. Something I hadn't considered before but the more I think about it the more it makes sense.

3 yard square balls from Hemdani have little impat on what happens in the final third, its upto the player receving the ball to make something happen. I don't disagree that he is and can be an integral part of the team, but builiding a team around a defensively minded holding midfielder would lead to a very negative team. It's not Hemdani I disagree with building the team around as much as it is the style of player. If BF was playing as he was a few weeks/months ago, that's the kind of player you can build a team around. The sort of player who will go and dictate play to the opposition.
-
Good, solid player but hardly the sort you "build a team around". That's usually a star player, someone who will make things happen for you in the final third.

32 year old LB, glad we have our priorities sorted. We already have Smith, Murray and Papac who play there.

The More Things Change, The More The Remain The Same

This is pretty well related to a post I made in footy chat recently. And to some extent Calscot's as well. Seems today the modern fan wants value for money and entertainment. I want to go to Ibrox and sit with other Rangers fans roaring on my team and watching them win games and silverware, whether its beautiful football or not.- 16 replies

Don't want to nit-pick but I would probably habe Buffel and Dado on lower marks. Maybe that's because Buffel's contribution was so much earlier in the season. Glad someone else had noticed Hutton has been consistent since about November, not since WS cam in or just for the last few weeks as I sometimes here. Granted though, for the most part, his real top class performances have been since the turn of the year. If the POTY award occured at the end of the season, instead of towards the end, he'd be in with a shout.
-
Sebo and Sionko fair enough, but with our thin squad I woudl definitely keep Papax.
-
Good work ben dying to see this especially Hutton's goal.
-
Strachan sent to the stands, apparently crowd trouble being swept under the carpet, but i'm not watching or listening to the radio.
-
2-1, might not mean much but I enjoy seeing it none the less.
