  1. Who do you fancy in the quarters. I'll take the winner of Granada/Molde
  2. I find the comparisons being made with Gazza extraordinary. Gazza may have some stupid things but the Ibrox 5 broke the law in the middle of a pandemic, thus jeopordising their teammates and the Club. They effectively conspired among themselves to break the law and go against all the Club would have been telling players. It does not matter if you are 19 or 29, you should do as the Club tells you to do. There may well be a way back for them, but I cannot see any of them playing this season.
  3. Certainly brings a lump to the throat. Can't wait for the sequel - And then to Champions.
  4. It's amazing the power of a home made banner.
  5. 5 goals. Clean sheet. 5 different scorers. Aribo wonder goal. Ryan Jack back. All shown by the great Rangers TV with knowledgeable analysis. What a day.
  6. If we win at Parkhead, we only need another 7 wins and a draw
  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55730538 Neil Lennon's government agenda claim is 'appalling', says deputy first minister John Swinney Celtic manager Neil Lennon's claims of a Scottish government agenda against Celtic are "absolutely appalling," says deputy first minister John Swinney. Lennon said politics and not public health drove the decision for 16 Celtic players and staff to self-isolate after Christopher Jullien contracted Covid. Jullien, and subsequently a second player, tested positive following the club's Dubai training camp. "I'm at a loss for words," Swinney told BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland. "I said a few weeks ago I thought it was a really bad idea that Celtic decided to go to Dubai for this trip. I didn't think it was a particularly great signal. "I have no ill will to Neil Lennon whatsoever, but I think his comments in this respect have been absolutely appalling." Yesterday it was St Johnstone responding to his incorrect comments. Today it's the Scottish Government. If Celtic have a strategy to be derided by all and sundry, it's taking shape nicely.
  8. That sequence has a nice symmetry to it. However I am concerned about the lack of consistency.☺️
  9. Celtic seem intent on becoming the bad boys of Scottish football. Fans fighting with police last month. Rearranging fixtures late in the day. Now flying off in middle of an escalating pandemic, thus incurring some, mild, criticism from the Scottish government. It may be a thought through strategy to instill a "siege mentality" or it could simply be incompetence. It will be interesting to see how the reaction to their holiday abroad pans out. I expect there may be attempts to deflect criticism the way of the SPFL and their cheerleaders can then rally round that. Whatever, it's got the makings of a PR disaster for them. Even more reason for us to keep on our steady march towards glory and give nobody any opportunity to move the narrative to any stumble on our part. Keep winning and let any chaos elsewhere take it's course (and quietly enjoy every moment).
  10. I must concur. Plays a blinder for 20 minutes. Wastes a bit of time at the end. In between.. nothing. If that had been Kent, he'd get pelters from some. For commitment to the cause, I'll go for Davis.
  11. My favourite quote is "When one door closes... another slams in your face"
