Watching the game, I was mildly disappointed that we seemed no better than we were last season. As money is tight, we need to spend it wisely. What we spend it on depends on our priorities. If the priority is to win the league, the money would be spent on those who will score goals. As we regularly have possession in excess of 70%, if we take more of our chances, the defence will help protect any keeper. If Europe is high on our priorities, perhaps a commanding keeper is required. I know we want both but we may need to choose.
