SFA likely to review Sone Aluko penalty award in Rangers win
Frankie replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The guy made the most of any slight touch he received. Happens in every game, every weekend so it will be interesting to see how they intend policing similar incidents in the future. While there certainly appeared to be contact, if it happened against us I'd be fuming. But, then again, I didn't have the view of the referee. -
If anyone else would rather not have this feature available to them, please say so and I'll remove it for you...

Cheers Zappa. I'll look into this more tomorrow but we may have the option to add a few buttons to express a range of emotions. However, I reckon that would be overkill so would like to try and limit it to two. Maybe we'll remove the negative reactions...?

Pity. All I'd suggest in the meantime is to use one of the other desktop themes for the moment. I'll see if I can find another mobile skin but these won't tap into your mobile input software (like you requested) but retain their formatting via web coding.

Can you try it now please mate?

we aim to please...

Yeah, I thought he had a fine first half. Reminded me of a slightly less physical Naismith in that he found good space and made good runs. His presence pressured the Pars defence at the first goal also. Not as effective after half-time but it was no coincidence that we struggled after he went off.

Danny, I doubt many of us are really genuinely offended by the use of 'hun' but, as is the case with 'fenian', Scottish case law infers it is indeed sectarian in many/most contexts. Ergo, given Mr Regan seems keen to tar reasonable people with the bigot brush after blocking them for no reason, I think Chris is right to question his judgement when he doesn't block those who are less than constructive. Personally, I'm pretty careful with whom I interact with on Twitter and I'm not in a huge position of responsibility like Regan. I find his actions inconsistent and puzzling. Which is why he's probably blocked me. His loss!

Ah, right it won't be. If I've got time tomorrow, I'll have a look at the default mobile skin and see if this can be improved.

Great stuff again. His arrogance is as interesting as it is disappointing. Just another hypocrite to add to the establishment list.
-
Yeah, it did make sense. I'll see what is possible but I'd recommend Tapatalk for using the forums on your mobile. Only a couple of quid at most and works very well. Have a look on your mobile app store.

What Zappa said. After noticing the forum was very slow this morning, I removed a lot of the forum mods to see if it improves performance. We'll monitor it over the next few days then gradually re-introduce the more popular ones. In terms of renaming them, I'll what's possible - should be a reasonably simple coding change.

Not sure what you mean mate? Is this with Tapatalk?

Eh? The thread title reflects the headline of what the paper claims.

Earliest Barry can look at this will be in 2 weeks. In the meantime, I'm going to try a few fixes which will mean some forum downtime. I'll try and do this late evening as to avoid problems.

We can only apologise for this but unfortunately Barry is the only person that can deal with the server side of things as he owns the hosting. He is extremely busy with work and studies right now so simply cannot devote the time involved to investigate/fault-find. None of the rest of us have the technical expertise in any case. We can only ask for your patience and hopefully we'll get the issue sorted over the Xmas/New Year holidays.

Lad has signed until the end of the season - with 2 year option.

Dreadful attempt to try and take the pressure of Celtic. Roddy is a hypocrite.

Humza Yousaf Apologises to Rangers fans - BBC deny chance to do it on show
Frankie replied to Fury's topic in Rangers Chat
Those who protested did specify it was a problem within BBC Scotland. The problem comes when the network themselves ignore this problem. -
He looked half-decent when at the Dons but I can't see where he'd fit into our squad. With Wylde, McKay, Papac, Wallace, Bedoya, Fleck, Bendiksen and Kerkar all capable of playing on the left of midfield, I doubt Aluko could force his way in ahead of these guys.

It's an interesting concept and I'd argue the dumbing down of the media (or at least the more quality sections of it) is just part and parcel of people wanting their information yesterday and in small, easy-to-swallow portions. In many ways, I'm surprised that the opposite hasn't been true - i.e. that one or two platforms (or certainly journalists) haven't improved in quality directly because they are now competing with everyone (including foreign media). There are still plenty of good journalists out there. Unfortunately, they're just difficult to find in a sea of chaff.
