I'm assuming Cammy and/or Del have it. I'm sure if they can't manage to display it, anyone else is welcome to pick it up and do so.

Pitch inspection at 1pm... Game unlikely to go ahead...

Nonsensical proposal... Why even have 32 games before it? Just have a seeded 4 team league each season...
-
Guys - can we please tone down the language a bit where possible... Appreciate people are passionate and the odd swear word is absolutely fine but now and again other words will strengthen your argument instead.

I can speak German so I'll blag my way in...

So here's the whole scoop on the inside betting scandal, A person in Liverpool opened up a betting account with Blue Square at 2PM, the Motherwell team line up was announced at 1:30pm. After that the guy put a £500 bet on a Motherwell player to get sent off at 10/1. Now in the bookies if there's a bet that has odds of winning more than £5K then there's a notification. The guy then tried 21 times to put more money on the same bet but each time Blue Square caught him out and declined the transaction. Then at 2:30, he opened up an account with William Hill. The exact same thing happened, he put £500 on and tried again to put more on but failed again. The betting companies now have a license which allows them to check the phone bills of customers if they think it's an irregular betting pattern, so they checked the guy in Liverpools number and he had a phone call from Jennings at 1:45. That's all 100% true. Allegedly.

I too would like to vote but they've not given much supporting information/arguments for why we should choose one number over another... Personally, I don't see the point in moving from the current set-up other than making sure at least 2 teams are relegated and making sure every team plays the same number of games home and away.

I sent the STS thing we put together last year to McLeish and asked to be kept up to day with fan consultation work he did. Didn't even get emailed with a final copy of the report... -

Inhibiting free and reasonable debate on Gersnet
Frankie replied to maineflyer's topic in Forum Support and Feedback
I meant silly in regard to the moving of this thread into this sub-forum... Apologies if that wasn't clear. That was silly as we've never had anything to hide on here as you should know from your time on the forum. We just like to try and keep the place tidy. The reason the thread wasn't re-opened in a more timely fashion was because bmck didn't know who had closed it so was awaiting information on that before doing so. -

They can prove this by improving the form and attitude of the team between now and the end of the season.
-
Well that's the point BD. By all means, explain decisions to managers privately (errors or not) but surely one aspect of that should be privacy to keep the integrity of the sport intact.
-
Little wonder when his form has been so patchy this season... I do sympathise a little given the number of games he plays (both club and internationally) so it's not a surprise to see him a little jaded from game to game but I've been a bit disappointed with his contribution this season.
-
Nobody is stopping you and I think you'll find everyone on here (or at least the majority) will enjoy singing all of those songs as WE know the intention behind them is merely tribal banter. Thus, in the context of a football match/occasion, such terms have merit and while perhaps crass should not be proscribed. Elsewhere, such as during intelligent debate on forums, then they're arguably less necessary depending on any given topic.
-
I think it was quite a soft decision but the guy certainly put his hands on our player (as happened with Broadfoot) so a foul was always likely... Is it any wonder the referees have their authority challenged by players/managers when they can't even stand by their own decisions afterwards? They need to man up and fast!

Fenian isn't a word that need be used gratuitously but is certainly also the best word to use on occasion. I'm sure Bill Struth knew when to use it and when not to. Every person on this forum is capable of the same. If you're unsure then I suggest you use the quote above to help you decide.
