If we collect maximum premier league points between now and the WC, I will be amazed and surprised.
-
The entire recovery project seems to be balanced on the edge of a knife and right now it’s as likely we’ll go back to pre-Gerrard times as forward from here. And the man charged with steering our course looks like Liz Truss on a bad day.

What you would hope is we don’t get beaten by Dundee. -
I’m more concerned about our midfield than central defence. Unless Lundstram rediscovers some form in a hurry, we’re threadbare
-
I think you might’ve stumbled unwittingly into the “I’m a better Rangers fan than you” territory.

I think the experience elsewhere shows that VAR will only really contribute if used with sincere intent. Otherwise it’s full of holes. Selective camera angles, inexplicable decisions despite the evidence that no one agrees with, referees abdicating decision making to VAR, etc
-
One week to go until VAR is introduced in Scotland. I predict another SPFL clusterfûck with a litany of inexplicable decisions and misapplication. What’s your opinion? Will it finally get rid of our mysterious and almost certainly corrupt refereeing failures? Or will it simply provide an additional platform for bias and cheating?

I’m sure you’re rightly ashamed of that post.

There would be something wrong if they weren’t, if we’re honest -

You have to hand it to Tav. When his form dips, it really dips. He needs to sort his game out soon. -

Looks like only Tamundo didn't get pass marks in last Saturday's CL trial. Let blood be spilled. -

I'm all in favour of having the manager and players interviewed before and/or after matches but I've never understood why the questions have to be asked by members of the press corps. While there's no doubt some pointless contractual obligation, I'd much rather questions were asked by accredited representatives of supporters' organisations, podcasts, etc. There's no shortage of good people who are more than capable of doing a far better job than the media goons we have at present. We broadcast our own TV and radio coverage and manage our own raft of social media platforms, so I can't understand why we continue to rely on a largely hostile media to act as a link between club and fans at "pressers".

Čolak and Sakala did a much to win this game but I felt the improvement had its origins in a better midfield balance. My choice was between Lundstram and Jack but opted for the latter because of his work further forward than his usual role, which I thought was pivotal.

Mind-numbing shite.
-
Playing Jack and Arfield further forward not only made Lundstram's job much easier but allowed the two central defenders more time to distribute. It meant the forwards were less isolated and gave us more secure possession further up the field. The number of times Arfield and Jack were in possession in the opposition penalty box was impressive. It was noticeable how this changed when Jack went off. On the whole, an improvement on recent weeks and maybe heading in a better direction at last.

For being next to useless? Or for being frustrated in his objectives?
