Indeed it is Craig and I've borne the scars of its joys and pains for 60 years

No worries. I'm just not a fan of addiction activities like gambling. I certainly would buy replica kits as gifts for the family but I stopped wearing football kit myself long ago.

I said I wouldn't buy or wear anything that promotes gambling. That's not "moaning", it's a matter of principle that I'm asking no one else to share. Nor have I condemned anyone for doing what I wouldn't do. Each to his own. As for catering, the club and its service partner should be actively soliciting fan opinion immediately after they're served. Waiting for complaints is amateurish.
  6. I wouldn't wear anything that advertises gambling and I certainly wouldn't buy it for anyone else. Personal choices.
  7. Almost certainly but is Davies ready for 90 minutes yet?
  8. The challenge for Rangers is so different from what the likes of Spurs face. They get handed £130m every year for doing nothing, we get a tiny fraction of that. They buy players for tens of £millions and pay them salaries our players can only dream of. Season after season they don't have to win anything but we if go 3 games without winning there's hell to pay. Yet we win trophies and conjure up astonishing European results when they don't. It's not hard to make a case for Rangers being a far, far bigger and better club than Spurs, West Ham, etc. What we achieved these last couple of seasons is outstanding and we should bear that in mind when criticising our players or performances.
  9. I lost count of the number of under-hit passes yesterday, mainly by Glenn Kamara. I find it inexplicable that such an obviously skilled player should do that. Then for periods he was his old self again. You have to wonder what gets into players' heads sometimes. If anyone thinks we can assimilate 5 or 6 players into the team overnight and there isn't going to be an adjustment period then it's a mistake. It could well be several weeks before we see what this new squad is capable of. Let's hope what we have today is good enough in the meantime.

In my experience the quality of pie is generally in inverse proportion to the size of the stadium. Hence why the best pies I've tasted at a football match have been in places like Forres or Stirling or Lossiemouth. For some reason, Highland League grounds tend to excel in the pie department. The kiosk food at Ibrox has been shit for as long as I can remember. Anything would be an improvement so let's hope this new mob have their act together.
  11. Spurs are a decent step up from West Ham.
  12. I have to agree about the home kit. Didn't like it when I first saw pictures but on the pitch I thought it was excellent.

Excellent PR exercise. We need to be doing as much of these profile-raising exercises as we can muster.
  14. To be honest, we have to pay our bills with cash and we still have little idea how much cash due to transfers is actually coming in or going out in the current financial year. The headline figure mentioned in buying or selling contracts tells us something about the balance sheet but very little about whether or not we are trading profitably.
  15. This fellow is still looking for a club
  16. I guess it's always the same - we'll never know if Devine is ready until or unless we give him a chance in competitive games.

    Burghead or the other one?
  18. I don't think any Rangers supporter should be questioning the commitment and ambition of our board of directors during this transfer window. If anything, their approach has been quite robust.
  19. That really is great news. Much deserved too.
  20. I think he was talking about Barisic rather than Kent. Either way, he's still talking nonsense.
