I don't think many would argue with his status and legacy. However, when extending contracts it's important to believe reputation doesn't just rely on the player's past. Far too many heroes go out with a whimper and too many clubs get scant return on the final few years of long-term players. Hopefully Tav isn't in that category.

James Sands for me, I thought he did very well and think he will be hard to shift from that position. I also thought Colak and Barisic did well. David started well but lost or gave away possession far too often in the second half. I felt Lundstram and Tillman were well below their best and contributed to often being overrun in midfield in the second half. I'm afraid Kamara offered very little when he came on - we really need to find a way to get him back performing like he used to - Jack would have been a better choice of sub.

Surprisingly poor final 30 minutes. Our midfield was overrun for spells. Lundstram had his weakest contribution for some time. Davis tired and Kamara never came close to replacing him. Nevertheless we’re still in this tie.

I took my granddaughter to see Rangers women in the sunshine today. It was the first time I'd seen them and I willingly take back anything I've previously said to disparage women's football. They are considerably better than I had imagined. They are also what I want to see from a Rangers team, on and off the park ... professional and committed. They rattled in 8 goals without reply. It’s a long time since I voted for Ryan Jack as MOTM but this time it just seems like an obvious choice. Creative and direct going forward, solid and disruptive in defence, always moved the ball quickly and with purpose.

FFS, how much uefa coefficient do you think the other Scottish teams have been contributing these last few years while Rangers has been rebuilding a solid European platform. If you think we can rely on the likes of Dundee Utd to help our own cause then you've had your head up your backside. We have to do it on our own and frankly I don't think we're doing too bad a job of it so far. The current coefficient is entirely down to Rangers and that's unlikely to change any time soon.

When you think about the size of the OF audience worldwide, the OF value to SKY should be well above the likes of Norway. I'd like to know what our income is from RTV, which is now reaching an ever growing audience that, presumably, would otherwise have been using Sky or BT. Are we making the most of RTV and is there more we could be doing to leverage customers away from SKY while increasing our media rights earnings?
