  1. Looks like Gio has delivered a new striker just before the window closes after all. The more I see of him, the better manager he turns out to be.
  2. Fixed your schoolboy error 😉 I despaired when I saw that snowflake bollocks. The woke can never resist an opportunity to flaunt their virtue.
  3. Speaking of comparisons, what is Diallo doing these days?
  4. The swine! He never said. 🤣
  5. It was the Challenge Cup but I’d forgotten all about the penalties
  6. Why not? That's been a lucrative path for many.
  7. I'd like to see Zak Lovelace and Mateusz Zukowski get their chance instead of Ure and Devine.
  8. Memory says the last time I saw QotS at Ibrox they beat us in a cup competition. Maybe 2012 or 2013? Did I imagine this?
  9. Yes, undoubtedly but there will also be non-football spending objectives and there are one or two legal uncertainties still floating around. There's no doubt our financial position will be much healthier than before but, since we've been a loss-making basket case for years now, that isn't necessarily saying as much as some seem to believe. One thing a prudent board might to is establish a cash reserve as a buffer against future debt.
  10. In the first place, we don't actually have our hands on most of that money yet. In the second, perhaps we already have specified intentions to spend it when we do get it.
  11. I think the stronger the profits, the more feasible it will be to address some of these investments? Perhaps money is already earmarked for these and other expenditures. How do we quantify that?
  12. The oldest truth in business is that you can't spend income, only profit. If you don't know our profitability or cashflow then commenting on income as a basis for further spending is a pointless exercise.
  13. People can also watch football for £15 if they want to watch third rate crap.
  14. Where’s the balancing statement of costs over the same period? Without it these income figures mean nothing.
  15. Are fans seriously saying the price for CL games is too high? Or just indulging a routine need to whine and complain? It would cost you more to go to an average music concert. If you don’t want to pay then please step aside for someone who does. There is nothing that Rangers sells that anyone is obliged to buy.
  16. Thanks Craig, I didn't know that.
  17. How do you know? You have no idea the payment schedule on any of the deals the club has made. Those numbers might turn into cash we can spend over a period of several years. We should let those who know the facts make the decisions.
  18. On the money! I actually feared it might be nearer £200 but what do we expect .... the club is striving to achieve as much as it can and that has to include maximising income opportunities. It's not as it the club is asking something for nothing, CL football is what we all wanted and every one of us puts considerable value on it ... so does the club and rightly so. But in these difficult times, anyone who feels the price is unacceptable should exercise buyer's rights and decline to purchase. I've every confidence all the tickets will sell.
  19. Hopefully the membership will be full-square behind a policy of voluntary winding up of this pointless vanity project and a distribution of shares to those members whose money paid for them.
  20. I intended to vote for Scott Wright but voted for Ryan Kent by mistake. It was either one or the other in any case so happy it went o a deserving player.
