I suspect he only made those changes because you and I told him to. -

The team selection and formation seemed so glaringly inappropriate for this game that I'm going to lay much of the responsibility at GvB's door, albeit he did effectively respond at Half time. That said, I think these sort of sporting traumas often signal a changing of the guard and I suspect tonight will be no different. I don't want panic, I just want to see progressive development of the squad, the team and the tactics. Changes could have been made after Pittodrie. They should have been made after Dingwall. They will have to be made after tonight. However, in the process of change, it's really important we continue to support GvB's efforts -

That's very true and any other interpretation is just daft. The lead may change hands a few more times yet. -

Given the impact of Jack, Balogun and Sakala I suppose it would be churlish not to acknowledge that the manager did in fact address many of the issues of the first half implosion -

That's true. I remember clearly John Greig going through occasional excruciating dips in form and he never hid either. Tav needs help to recover his confidence and form. A wee rest could be all it takes. Meanwhile we need to know if we have a Polish dud or a Polish star and there's only one way to do that. -

I've read post after post for weeks saying how good Kamara is in games that I've watched and seen him be wasteful in passing and fade in and out of games. I understand how good a player he is and has been but there's only so long you can go on living on the credit of past performances. The issue with Kamara isn't that anyone thinks he's not a very good player, it's that he isn't showing it in anything but snatches in games and his tempo is often debilitatingly slow. He needs to refresh and regroup. -

Unless you have access to a time machine, what's done is done and all that matters now is what happens from here on. There isn't one person at Rangers who isn't aware how badly wrong the entire coaching staff got it tonight and how much pressure is heading their way to address it. I very much doubt you will be seeing the same again ... if you do the GvB will be toast. -

Tonight, the lessons I learned were... 1. McGregor is still a capable keeper and redeemed his reputation big time. Without him we could easily have been six down at HT. 2. Bassey is never a centre back but he is our best left back. Barisic's role is now cover for Bassey. 3. Tavernier's loss of form is getting worse and he badly needs a rest. Zukowski has more experience than Bassey and should be blooded pronto. 4. Balogun made a huge difference when he came on with his pace and aggression. Helander or Balogun but never Bassey. 5. Jack is quite peerless among our midfielders and his partnership with Ramsey could lift us to a new level 6. There is still a role for Steve Davis as backup to Jack. Kamara has gone stale and needs to recharge his batteries. We didn't miss him at all. 7. Three up front and two attacking fullbacks is madness 8. There is very little leadership on the park. It may be harsh but it's time for a change of captain soon. 9. Morelos is still an absolutely essential part of this team. 10. Our manager is going to be under massive scrutiny to prove he can address tonight's clusterphukk. -

You would never have seen 4-3-3 at Parkhead from Walter Smith and Walter knew a thing or two about winning in that cesspit. -

Someone told me earlier he thought GVB was "just another nice guy". I hope he's wrong and I think he is but he needs to get his shit together fast or he won't have his critics to seek. -

The game is long gone but what we can do is try to find some answers to the catastrophic fuck up of the first half. -

Lie down, turn off the lights, breathe deeply. Try to regain some composure. -

Balogun and Jack have made a difference. Given a degree of control in defence and at last getting some possession to the likes of Arfield going forward -

You can't name an attacking side and then proceed to defend like cub scouts and soak up pressure. That's the kind of thing Pedro Caixinha would do. -

Watching the goals again on RTV ... surely that has to be the last we see of Borna Barisic for a while. -

Sometimes you have to give credit where it's due and admit Celtic are by far the better team from the neck up. Too many of ours are like rabbits in the headlights but I still say the management team has sent them out with a knives to a gun fight. To be honest, there's nothing positive to take from this. If Ryan Jack or Steve Davis doesn't come on a HT then GVB needs to take a long hard look at himself -

Yup. It will be interesting now to see if our new manager has a plan B or if it's just more of he same in the second half. The game is well out of our reach, we're now playing for answers, not points. -

Utterly outclassed and it's largely down to lack of Manager's confidence to change the glaringly obvious. Now it's just a matter of how bad this humiliation will get. we knew the storm we would face and this is completely the wrong formation to deal with it. -

That's a selection that wouldn't break many Rangers hearts. -
Sounds like no one wanted to touch the poisoned chalice. The same old names just go round and round, as they have done since the embarrassment of the old RST and it just further erodes any remaining credibility of that increasingly pointless organisation. What has it all been for?

I have no view on his guilt or innocence but I think it's revealing he's been bailed without charged. At the very least it suggests the "evidence" against him may not be as conclusive as widely reported.
