gpl predictions (image) Bluebear54's GPL 2021/22: Dundee vs Rangers
Bill replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
Dundee 0 - 3 Rangers FGS Roofe Don't anyone else use this scoreline because I can't get near a forecast this season. -
Hagi made all the difference. He was the only one of our creative players who looked like he wanted to be the one who made things happen. That said, for overall contribution throughout the entire game it has to be between Goldson and Lundstram. Lundstram for me.

Goalkeeper unemployed. Back four comfortable. Decent night in the end for Kamara, Roofe, Morelos. For me the best were Lundstram and Hagi. -
Excellent news. Maybe now he can rediscover his form of last season.

I think we're all hoping for the best but preparing ourselves for the news that Ryan Jack won't be playing again, in which case the loss will be immeasurable. I still see him as the best midfield player at the club. I suspect our manager does too. Jack PDF.pdf -
Let's be clear, Rangers B is there to provide a development platform for younger players. You don't help that cause by making grandiose gestures that take away the opportunity to gain more experience.

I do know one thing - players struggling for form will never find it with supporters howling at them from the stands and calling for them to be dropped. Supporters ... the clue is in the name. -

Like it or not, the squad we've got is the squad we've got. Few if any seem able to perform to their best at present, so we carry on until they or the management find a way to improve. Whatever happens, success is never guaranteed and we continue to back the team without any sense of entitlement. -

No, definitely not. We have to move on, even if it’s a bit painful at times. As much as I really like and respect him, the only time Defoe should be on the park is when injuries or suspensions prevent others being available. -

There’s never any better time to make changes than when a team is at its peak. For whatever reason, we’ve missed that opportunity.

I shared your thoughts on Davis tonight. He made a sad spectacle for much of the time he was on the pitch and if he is starting to fade then it's inevitable that better opposition will expose it first. It was encouraging to see that Lundstram really could be an asset in midfield but what we really need right now is Ryan Jack fit and back on the park.

This is how Forfar must feel playing Rangers.
-
Absolutely the right substitution. Starting to feel Davis is being embarrassed in midfield.

Scottish Sports Fans Need To Prove They Have Been Fully Vaccinated
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Apart from unerring incompetence, the other defining characteristic of the SNP is the ability to adopt a completely different direction whenever the wind changes. There's now not a chance in hell that vax passports will be launched in Scotland. They'll use the context of having been undermined by decisions in England but the truth is both governments were always going to have to accept the unworkability of this proposition in the face of a reluctant public. Even the SFA panicked at the thought of having to come up with an enforcement strategy. -

This is a fundamental truth and underpins much of our accelerating decline. -
Scottish Sports Fans Need To Prove They Have Been Fully Vaccinated
Bill replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
In my view there are a number of things .... 1. Unless there is a medical reason for not doing so, everyone should get vaccinated 2. No one should be forced to get vaccinated but it is entirely reasonable for people in certain occupations to be required to do so 3. Coercing people to get vaccinated will mainly disadvantage those who have already been jabbed 4. The long term, post-Covid implication of adopting vaccine passports now is to limit individual freedom 5. Vaccine passports as proposed are an unprovable solution to a problem that cannot be defined 6. The NHS is already crumbling and well beyond saving -

Because it won’t make a blind bit of difference to national Covid infection rates. Its a bit like thinking reducing UK carbon emissions will make a difference to global climate. It’s pure distraction.
