  1. Oi!!! Ya young skunk. Michael Beale would of course be ideal in terms of transitioning from Gerrard but I wouldn't turn my nose up at Callum Davidson, who must now be on the radar of a lot of clubs.
  2. Whoever is chosen as the next Rangers manager, be it now or in the future, I hope it's someone who doesn't have to learn on the job and who arrives knowing exactly how he's going to approach the task. I like Gerrard, I think he's been very good for us and I'd hate to see him go right now - but, if he does, we shouldn't chose a replacement who has to go through the same learning curve as Gerrard. We should be past that point in our recovery. I doubt he's available but Beale would be ideal.
  3. No Rangers fan should want Gerrard to leave but neither should anyone be in doubt that our main interest is in the success of Rangers rather than the future of Steven Gerrard. I hope he stays but if he chooses to go I will immediately get behind his replacement and Steven Gerrard will slip into our long history.
  4. Put me in the violently against camp.
  5. The problem lies is possibly losing Patterson while Tav reaches the end of his spell at Rangers and ending up with neither.
  6. You're right but at some stage we will have to think about the longer term future of the squad and at the moment we have a potentially excellent replacement at RB. It would be a tough call either way.
  7. With that midfield our defence had better be on their game
  8. Rangers 3 Ross County 0 FGS - Sakala
  9. I'm slightly surprised the results are as good as they are, given the Covid restrictions that prevailed. There's no doubt the continued level of season ticket sales was a major contributing factor to our financial performance and without it we would certainly have seen the full force of Covid.
  10. Unless something fundamental changes, I'd say this Rangers team has very little chance of beating Sparta by two goals.
  11. Brondby 1 Rangers 2 FGS - Fashion Jnr
  12. I've always had time for Levein. That doesn't mean I agree with everything he says but his willingness to express an opinion makes him a treasure in this age of conformity and compliance.
  13. Everything says it has to be Fashion Sakala but I'm going with Steve Davis. We were hesitant and disorganised for the first 20 minutes until his calm distribution and sheer composure on the ball started to settle those around him and spread throughout the team. I thought he was the catalyst for the changes that saw us go from ridiculous to sublime. What a performance he put in today.
  14. Davis has brought composure but Arfield’s competitive bite has also been instrumental in achieving domination in midfield
  15. From utter disorganisation to total control. The influence of Davis has been colossal
  16. I’d be delighted if that was our only problem. We’re a shambles all over the field
  17. Utterly predictable. Nathan Patterson, your time has come.
