Everything else in Scotland is based on secrecy and corruption, so why should football be any different? -

Still no word about Goldson's new contract, which is rather strange. Is he leaving? -

Dreadful news about his condition. I met Davie many times and several times shared his company at Ibrox. He was my boyhood hero, yet seemed like Peter Pan as I got old and he didn't. A more humble and gracious gentleman you couldn't hope to meet.

I thought for a spell that Iannis Hagi was the perfect forward midfielder and he gets my vote. His work rate, technical skill, inventiveness, creativity and directness were sublime. He was effective in defence and still got beyond the main striker in attack. I thought his first half was as good as I've seen in quite a while. Very impressed with Bassey and Wright who must surely retain their places. Pleased for Lundstram who might now show us why he was signed.

I really want to believe we have a manager who understands the need for change when things goes as badly wrong as they did for us over the lad week or so. I want to believe we have a manager who understands where loyalty to the club takes over from loyalty to players. I want to believe that's what we saw in the team selection tonight.

A salary cap has to be the most retrograde proposal yet. Who do these people at UEFA think they are? The world is drowning in self-important bureaucrats.

Ex-Rangers administrators David Whitehouse and Paul Clark in £21m settlement

I'm not so sure BDO has any guarantee of success against D&P but in any case I think this is one dispute that could be expected to settle in private, without troubling the courts. In the incestuous world of corporate law, what are the chances this case is the only time D&P and BDO will meet in a professional context? It's in neither's interest to sully its hands with a court battle. -
Of course, you can never entirely discount the possibility that the manager either doesn’t know what to do or does but is constrained by the club from implementing effective solutions. its also worth considering that so far what we’ve seen has to a degree been a whole team malfunction and not just an individual player or two failing to perform.

No need to stop at a suggestion. The SNP is as close to a clone of SF as makes no difference. Only, in a hundred years the people of Ireland haven’t been stupid enough to elect SF to govern them.

If that’s the case, those in question need rooted out and sold. -

Candeias is history and should not be thought of as anything else. Windass on the other hand has achieved mythical status among the cognoscenti, who know good hair when they see it, and would embellish any team photo or promo video. -
Appalling spelling. It was Yasser Isarat

The chap on the right hand side has always been prone to appalling lapses, punctuated by periods of brilliance. His problem is that when he's poor he's actually rank rotten and last night was approaching that again. He's an enigma right enough. The chap on the left is clearly below par but less so and the vice captain is strangely hesitant and fumbling in central defence. Like all loss of form it seems to be sickness of the mind and it slightly worries me that the coaching team hasn't ironed it out before now. Nothing lasts forever and the way things are it seems inevitable that Patterson, at least, will be given his chance. -
And a very fine place to march it is too. Except Atlanta, it's a mess
