  1. I don't worry about the opposition so much as our ability to crank up our form and motivation on the heels of last season's achievements. I'm hoping some new faces will help to revive the hunger. What I've seen so far in pre-season games has been disappointingly slack and lacklustre. You can see why Gerrard has been reading the riot act.
  2. Anyone know how Jacko’s recovery is going?
  3. There are some sources of info I’d give attention to. Follow Follow probably isn’t one of them. Not that I’m a member or wish to be.
  4. I'm still amazed that any supporters thought it was a good idea to fund share purchases that someone else would own and for the rights conferred by those shares to be controlled by people who were completely unaccountable to anyone. Well, here we are. Perhaps some pennies will now start dropping. You've been had folks, it's all been for bugger all.
  5. There’s no question of Dave King wanting his money back. The money he paid for them went to the club and that’s where it stays. All he’s doing is trying to sell his shares to a third party and it’s their money he will pocket. The club has no involvement in the sale of his shares.
  6. Why 2000? What nationalist science was this derived from? Utter wankers.
  7. I think what must worry many fans (it worries me) is the inference that Dave King could be complicit in these Club1872 manoeuvrings. Personally, I think King has every right to try to liquidate his investment but not by manipulating the use of fans' money and certainly not by clandestine arrangements with certain people at Club1872. If it turned out that way it would only confirm the club is never safe from personal ambitions, whether those come from within the Rangers board or fans organisations - and that the aspiration to have a safety net of fan-owned shareholding has been nothing but a smokescreen. If the fans who have dedicated their money to owning shares still had title to those shares, instead of Club1872, then I believe those professing to represent the Rangers support would be compelled to act in an altogether more open and constructive fashion. It is, I'm afraid, another sorry mess and, after all we've been through, it seems to flow from the same source.

  10. What chance a blazer and a seat on the board now?
  11. Jesus, if I'd known anyone would be so po-faced about it I'd have included a suitable smiley to help lighten your pompous burden.
  12. It’s a relief the first time you use a reactivated card and it works. There always seems to be someone who gets a bad surprise.
  13. Everything about nationalism is a national embarrassment. Apparently we walk among people who think this is in our best interests. I always return to the fact that, by definition, half of our fellow citizens have below-average intelligence. Clearly, they’re all nationalists.
  14. Here we go, RST mark 2.
  15. I'd add predictable and embarrassing
  16. I must have read a good 40 lines before giving up.
  17. Right enough, bound to be an improvement. I’d prefer him as Fm though
  18. Why not? Who sets the rules and applies the moral code - you?
  19. Presumably to be dispossessed you'd first have had to have a ticket .... before Kate Moss came along and took it from you. I think what you're actually talking about is simple envy. He has a ticket. I don't have a ticket. I want a ticket. I resent him and I'm going to attack someone.
