Sadly I have to confess that I didn’t come up with anything but I still refuse to respond to it with petty sniping. It is what it.

I think we are missing the point .... Rangers hasn’t swapped white for gold in any permanent sense. The gold is purely a 150 anniversary colour. After all, how do you mark a huge anniversary if everything just stays the same?

Something else I like ..... no five stars

Anyway .......... the new design is clearly intended as an anniversary strip, with the 1960's neck and sleeves. The use of gold on blue is part of a branding theme we've seen elsewhere for some time now and I think is a clever way of making a very visible statement to the world that this isn't just an anniversary but a huge milestone for a special club. This is the sort of messaging that's been lacking for decades and the more I see of our brand development the more I appreciate how far we've come in the last few years.

In the final analysis it’s clear the only thing of any importance is that I get through those turnstile. I know you’ll all agree.

There can be no senior positions in government, the media, police, judiciary, education, healthcare or the Civil Service for people who don't obsequiously take a knee to nationalism. Any aspect of public life that depends on money or approval from Holyrood is in thrall to the SNP and that is the very definition of socialism and why it is always a well of corruption. National socialism of the purest variety is back and it's ours.

Excellent. I knew there had to be some reason why I waste my money on MyGers.

The Summer 2021 Rangers Transfer Window Rumours and Deals - Thread

I don't know if we have a chance of landing Billy Gilmour but he's exactly what we need. -
Apart from Italy I think the "big" teams have all disappointed to an extent .... but that's often the case in the group stages. I hope one of the lesser lights goes far and it wouldn't entirely surprise me if it was Sweden or Denmark.

I know we've still got some problems of our own but it's an undeniable pleasure watching the self-destruction of a club that only a year ago was boasting of its invincibility to anyone that would listen. You have to think there are bigger problems under the surface that have contributed to their decline that are still to emerge. With any luck it could be a long time before we hear their boasting again. What is it they say about what goes around?

The Summer 2021 Rangers Transfer Window Rumours and Deals - Thread
Bill replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
This is a very difficult transfer window for Rangers to navigate, compounded by the complication of Euro2020 running well into July. With two qualifying rounds of the CL to negotiate it's imperative we have the players on board, ready and rested to do it .... but we'll find it hard to justify ambitious signings without first having the financial security of qualifying for the group stages. We might also find it difficult to attract the right players without knowing there's CL football to showcase their talents. If we get this right I think Ross Wilson will be due a raise. -
Very true

Hopefully we'll see more of him from now on. It's been disappointing not to see Helander get a run out.
-
Do you know if he's been injured?

Three games, one goal, one point, blown away. Time to put the bullshit away for another tournament.

You have to wonder how long the rest of the Scotland squad spent with Gilmour - meals, dressing room, team meetings. Or is it OK if its players in your own bubble? The whole thing is a mystery to me.

Bothered, moi? ?

Every sodding year we go through this ridiculous ritual about a new strip, with the same tired old preferences, likes and dislikes paraded for weeks until everyone eventually gets bored being a fashion critic. As if it can't be a proper Rangers strip unless it's been picked apart, every stitch criticised and compared to old strips through the generations. So much froth, what's the point? It's not as if Rangers is going to change it. It's the new Rangers strip, done deal, it is what it is, live with it. For my part, if it's the new Rangers strip then it's the new Rangers strip and I'll buy one for my grandson regardless of what it looks like - just because it's the Rangers strip.

Last night's games were a disaster! It's becoming congested with almost everyone still within touching distance. That said, rumour has it that the first managerial casualty could be looming at Gonzo FC? ? -
Just watched a team from a country of 5 million people light up a tournament with skill, goals and endeavour. And a stadium full of fans who managed to create an amazing atmosphere without singing about how much they hate their neighbours. Things we're not privileged to enjoy in our own aimless and divided midden.

Does anyone understand why 2 England players are having to isolate because of close contact with Billy Gilmour but not any of the Scotland squad? Everything about Covid is rapidly turning into a ludicrous joke.
