Slimy Khan using England’s win to curry favour by pretending he’s fighting for full attendance at Wembley.

Celtic and the SNP are just different symptoms of the same disease.

I can’t sit on the fence. I’m backing our neighbours all the way. I think Italy will probably win but I hope it’s England’s time.
-
Exactly. There are winners and losers every time any share price rises or falls. Unless all prices are going to remain the same forever, the only way to guarantee avoiding disappointment is to keep your money in your pocket.
-
It’s also worth considering that the 25p price means fewer new shares, less dilution for existing shareholders, and notionally an upward adjustment of existing share value. I doubt the board suddenly lost their marbles and it’s strange anyone would think it.
-
That’s exactly what I had in mind. I don’t expect any unsold shares to be left on the table. Hopefully that’s the case. ?

And you know this how exactly

While it’s impossible to be sure, I’ll be very surprised if this issue isn’t fully subscribed. I’ll also be surprised if there isn’t an underwriting arrangement in there somewhere.

He’s absolutely f**king fire. Somewhere is a BBC executive who’s so far out of touch with public opinion that he/she thinks Danny Murphy isn’t boring, pedantic and irritating.

Has it failed?

You’re in danger of hoping a Rangers share issue fails.

The one thing I learned from that was how good a prospect Stephen Kelly is. -

It's yet another signing where you just think "yes, that makes complete sense". More excellent deal making from Ross Wilson, what an acquisition he's turning out to be. -

There’s no “extra” anything, just a price to accept or not
-
You’re right, you do appear to miss the point. It isn’t about some things costing more than other things, which is hardly a revelation, but about the nature of ethics and whether “things” can possess some inherent quality that makes them “ethical”. You mustn’t become obsessed with the advantages and disadvantages of price and wealth, or I’m concerned you might accidentally stray into the fantasy world of “fairness”. Price and affordability have little bearing on value and none at all on ethics.
-
Other than “buy shares”, there were two messages I picked up on. The first was that owning shares gives you a personal stake in Rangers. The second was that your shares are forever and can be passed on to your heirs when you’re gone. Both messages were a barely-concealed put down of the collective Club1872 model, where fans have nothing to show for their money and commitment. I like Bennett and I like his view that supporting Rangers is a personal journey, not something for the anthill.
-
There’s no such thing as ethical investments, only personal comfort and preferences. But if there were, it would have absolutely nothing to do with being expensive or otherwise.
-
Exactly. I might be uncomfortable with the basis of some sponsorships but I’m a lot more uncomfortable with the current trend to condemn and cancel anything we might have a personal issue with.

I thought King had reserved his shares exclusively for Club1872 and the 20p price was a deal cut with them alone. If that deal is off the table he’ll no doubt sell at whatever he gets offered. Far too much store is being put on this notion of a share price. We’re not talking LSE here. There isn’t any share price, only a deal price. I could offer to sell my shares for 50p each or 5p each. What I actually got for them would depend entirely on what I was offered and whether or not I was prepared to accept it. There no reason why you couldn’t sell your shares the next day at an entirely different price.

From what I can see, Bitci has an impressive portfolio of partner deals and seems to be enabling Rangers to offers its fan base the same facility that many other prominent sports outfits are already signed up to. Is Bitci a credible company? It looks that way or at least a lot of other people seem to think so.

I’m in inches. You seem to be using some sort of damned metric device. Could be why you’re consistently coming up with the wrong conclusions. ?
