You think the good times will last forever and then suddenly it's all gone. The real difficulty is accepting it.

Neil Cameron is a Celtic fan. I can tell you that because he told me. I can also tell you he's no bigot, at least no more so than you or me. But he is a newspaper journalist who writes what he knows will be published. It's a job not a conviction, I don't know why so many people find that hard to accept. You don't have to be a bigot because someone doesn't agree with what you write. There are plenty of real bigots in the Scottish media, I honestly don't believe he's one of them.

I still expect the SPFL to play their expected part and award the title to Celtic. Despite all the many valid reasons why they shouldn't, we all know how Scottish football works and unfortunately it's a closed shop where decisions don't require justification and can't really be challenged.

I find it difficult to get excited about Cameron's article. I'd never have even been aware of it if it hadn't been copied here and I've already forgotten almost everything I read in it. Makes me wonder who it was actually written for ?

The season IS over. It's just that in the process of declaring it over the SPFL and SFA needs to find a way of awarding the league title to Celtic. Presumably this will be achieved by simultaneously buying off telling Hearts there will be no relegation this season and next season there will be 14 teams in the league. Everyone is then happy, no?

I didn't realise Rangers had contracted the DUP to act for us. As far as I can see he wears a Rangers shirt, not a DUP tie, and has renounced his political position. I never fails to amaze me how willing we are to allow the media to dictate the tone of what we think about this or anything else. Let's not be like the media goons who try to exploit us.

This is worrying and should alarm every concerned Rangers fan. I mean, he's clearly got the money, he's a lifelong Rangers man, he's got the corporate experience ....... but Paisley? ?

The worrying thing in this respect is it may not now be possible for Mr Robertson to show strength if those he has to contend with have already concluded that he's an easy touch.

The food at Ibrox has been awful for as long as I can remember. Why is it you can go to a highland league ground and get gourmet pies but Rangers can't serve up anything but rubbish. Outsourcing catering might have been a useful commercial decision but it didn't do any favours for the customer.

Or Rangers could be the club desperate to sell and failing to maximise the value of its playing assets

How many people will be prepared to renew season tickets this year? Most will want to, some won't be able to, many will have other priorities.

I’ll be surprised if there is any meaningful transfer market this summer.

It's all a bit academic now anyway. The current team is unlikely to be challenging for trophies again. Some will leave, others will arrive. But if SG continues to think this is English football then it won't matter who we sign.

Because I think he deserved it for his application, his positivity, for not giving up. Not everything came off but his job is to create and he did that on several occasions. All you’ve done is badmouth one of our few players who actually tried tonight.

Fair result. Pass marks for Kamberi, Hagi, Kent. Deep negatives for Davis, Aribo, Morelos. The rest merely ineffective. Season over, some highs, too many lows. Too many quitters, not enough warriors. Let’s hope we all survive to see a better Rangers next season.

Jack is head and shoulders above the rest of our midfield. The sooner he’s made captain and we build a new midfield around him the better.

It’s simple. A season is 38 games. If you can’t play 38 games you can’t have a result.
