The club has tried long and hard to change the mindset of these morons. The only thing I can see will ever change things is for the club to do more to ensure away tickets only get in the hands of decent fans by implementing some kind of "approved supporter" scheme but it's hard to see how that would work in practice. -

Why not? What’s wrong with you? -
A referee who lied about his decision to send off Candeias and whose guilt was confirmed by being kept away from Rangers games for months is now going to take charge of a Rangers cup final. Nothing dubious about that. CLUB RESPONSE TO SCOTTISH FA’S DECISION TO DISMISS OUR APPEAL: RANGERS are extremely disappointed with the decision of the Scottish FA’s Judicial Panel to dismiss our appeal against the second yellow card shown to Daniel Candeias in the closing seconds of last Saturday’s match against St Mirren. Rangers afforded the governing body the opportunity to let common sense prevail and we are surprised they have chosen not to do so by correcting what was, and what remains an inexplicable decision by the match referee, Willie Collum. Rangers shall now seek a fundamental review of the rules relating to red cards which result from two bookings of a player in a game. If one of these decisions is obviously wrong, it must be possible to correct that mistake. It is wrong that players’ livelihoods and careers can be impacted without the opportunity of redress, especially when the official responsible for the miscarriage of justice is allowed to continue as though beyond question or reproach. It defies belief that this same referee, who got it so blatantly wrong last Saturday, is awarded one of the biggest matches in Scottish football this weekend while Daniel Candeias is denied the right to go to his work. This, frankly, is unacceptable. Furthermore, it is understood that a number of people within the Scottish FA are in no doubt Mr Collum’s judgment was flawed and Rangers shall also now be submitting a formal complaint about the performance of this referee. The manner in which he reacted to an incident involving our player made it obvious he did not give due consideration to his decision. This is by no means the first time errors of judgment have been made in matches involving this official and clearly there is an underlying issue which requires to be addressed. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/daniel-candeias/

I saw no evidence of it. That the club was prepared to give him his way is good enough for me. Replacing him with Ojo is another matter. -

Will they never learn. What is they think they're achieving with shite like that banner? I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to offering the odd bit of offence but that is just pointless and propounding stupid. -

To be brutally honest, Candeias was OK but far from flawless and while Ojo can indeed be a liability at times, if I was charged with finding replacement it sure as hell wouldn't be Candeias. It's worth reminding ourselves that Daniel Candeias wasn't sold, he chose to leave at a time when the club wasn't looking for a buyer for him. -
I wondered who Lawwell would choose.

Morelos is no longer a secret hiding in a Scottish backwater and these performances, particularly in Europe, must have the attention of even the biggest clubs. I like the King/Gerrard narrative of Morelos not being for sale at any price and that may indeed be true for the January window. However, when the rich clubs knock on your door they will inevitably get their way.

Can you make this an open vote please?

Sometimes I think it’s a waste of time commenting on these things while the gushing is still in full flow and any attempt to express a sense of balance will only be seen as disloyalty or troublemaking. But viewing Dave King as a loss would be wrong. At the time he took over, we needed someone like King who was strongly motivated by emotional conviction and personally willing to fund the turnaround. On the whole, he’s definitely been good for Rangers, vital even, but I cannot see serious investors being encouraged by his style of leadership and I believe King is smart enough to know that. He’s going because he knows he is or will become a barrier to progress. He’ll always be a key figure in the Rangers’ story but I suspect his chapter is over and the opening lines of the next are already being written. I’m excited. Let’s go!

The fact he ever fell in with them would always worry me.

Ah ... that'll be the guy from Clyde Blowers ?

What guy from Weir Pumps?

I hope Rangers is never owned by people who are not Rangers supporters.

Well at least Barisic was. -
I can't see that ever happening when the most successful and influential clubs benefit from the current system. The objective for Rangers is to be one of the clubs that use the present system in its own interests.

It's a excellent way of proclaiming your commitment to the cause. There's little point being a bigot if no one can see you bigotry. -

These motions are raised to reassert and proclaim values and loyalties. They’re a public declaration for all to see of the views of an individual and, by inference, their party. In that respect they are far from meaningless. -

I still maintain that while it's entirely possible to vote for the SNP and support Rangers, it's only possible to do so by compromising one or the other of these positions. Since I've yet to meet one of these strange Janus people who will have a word said against the SNP, I can only assume self-harm syndrome is a defining characteristic among them. -
The Gilmour/King situation is a regret but it's also just a fact of life. It's a regret that Rangers can't go out and buy Cristiano Ronaldo in January but that's also a fact of life. If you have the money, you can .... if you don't then you can't. When was it ever different?

I’d bring on Ojo for Arfield -
Rangers is in an almost impossible situation with these young players. Are we prepared to pay someone like Gilmour or King more than some of our established first team squad? I don’t think so. It’s the old Jim McLean situation.

I think we should prioritise signing people called Ryan.
