About time something concrete came of Julian Wolhardt's appointment to the board. Otherwise there seems little point to it. I hope there's substance to these rumours but like everyone else I'll believe it only when the board announces it.

I can think of no player who has benefited more from the financial and corporate struggles at Rangers than Scott Brown. His sideboard is creaking under the weight of trophies he wouldn’t have won had Rangers not been consigned to 8 years of effective exile. I’m not saying he’s without some talent or that Celtic would have won nothing over that period but the success he’s enjoyed is certainly tainted by circumstances and diluted in worth. The way the media has elevated him to star status is out of all proportion to his abilities and is based on achievements during a period when there was no credible challenge.

That could just be to allow his family to visit and not that his family is relocating -

I bet he's not short of interpreters. The ones who can read between the bullshit and the desperate. -

If there was concrete evidence available I doubt we would read it on that blog first. However that doesn't mean there isn't real value in doing what he does or the way he goes about it. Nor is there any harm throwing a likely name in the ring - many an effective exposé has started by speculating in public and if he's prepared to take the defamation risk then why not? I've noticed it's become almost de rigueur in some quarters to belittle this particular blogger as somehow less worthy but I think he deserves at least some credit for continuing the fight when many have long ago given up. -

I suppose we can now expect over two months of the Scottish media maliciously stirring the Morelos transfer pot. If it wasn't so transparent it might be annoying. -

There's now a considerable gap opening up between wanting Morelos and having any chance of competing for him. -

Sadly that's not just true of Humza Yousaf. He's a long way from being the only one in his party who puts inter-party politics before the responsibilities of his office. -

Morelos is already way out of St Etienne's league. Must be a slow news day. I thought the Scottish rags would be at fever pitch telling Spurs "hands off Lenny" ? -

When your Justice Secretary is an open bigot, whose priority is defending the interests of a bigoted political party .... what chance is there of ever seeing actual justice for victims in Scotland. -
Let’s hope all our own international players return fit and healthy.

Wonder what team we put out? And how many Leicester first team players took part.

Listening to Sky Sports, apparently beating the mighty Cyprus means Scotland “has momentum”. It’s embarrassing.

Is that over five furlongs or five hours? Or is this just the rhetorical mile?

Have a look at a self-updating mailing device such as Mailchimp or similar that could be used not only to transmit information globally but would also provide feedback on who reads it, how many reads you get, etc etc. While there may be sense in sending out everything historical at once, looking forward it might be much more effective to have regular updates, which is where something like Mailchimp comes into it's own.

When feeling understandable reluctance to see some of our star players sold, it's important always to remember there are even better players out there and the only way we can have them at Ibrox is to sell current players to raise the funds. -
Seems to me there are quite a few people like @Walterbear doing sterling work interrogating the likes of the BBC about activities detrimental to Rangers. When you look at this forum's own "Pacific Quay Musings",for example, there's a terrific catalogue of injustice. It's just a pity their work wasn't more widely publicised. We know the mainstream media are more likely to be complicit in these activities than to report them and it beggars the question what else might be done. Many businesses use online target marketing devices to reach out to a wide but defined audience and I always thought that Rangers fans could be doing something similar at a very moderate cost, certainly a lot less than buying a couple of million Rangers shares, and reaching out to thousands of people on a weekly or monthly basis, including well beyond the boundary of the Rangers support. Preaching to the unconverted can sometimes have remarkable effects. To my mind this should be core business for a supporters' organisation.

This is ridiculous. I'll ask the question again - what does slow mean? Is it 1m/s ... 2m/s ... 3m/s ... or what? Or is it defined in terms of acceleration - if so, what is the threshold between slow and fast? Who has actually been measuring these factors and what apparatus did you use to do it? Or is "slow" merely something baseless we say when we want to be critical of a player? Why don't we just stick to the time-honoured "he's shite"? At least that had the merit of being a purely subjective and dimensionless expression and would avoid the pretence of actual knowledge.

You may be right in terms of financial redress but not in terms of reputation. I feel it’s essential we do everything we can to use these revelations to reverse the negative image our club has rightly or wrongly acquired.
-
While we’re labelling Goldson, Helander, etc, what exactly is “slow”? I’m not aware there is any specific definition of “slow”. Nor am I aware there’s any routine measurement of any player’s “slowness” by which to exercise judgement. I could be wrong of course, perhaps it isn’t all just hot air.
