To be fair to him, the interview was with a Belgian journalist and Raskin probably hasn't quite realised the nature of the goldfish bowl he's in yet. We all know foreign players who come here are thinking this anyway.

Serie A is a cracking league to watch - some great football on show. I've just entered an official Inter competition to win CL semi-final tickets (flights and accommodation included) - that would be a bit special.

I dunno about that. Our youth teams haven't been doing particularly well recently.

Sticking young lads into a team with no heart, in front of already disgruntled supporters, might not be the best course of action.

Rodgers had a pretty good stint in the EPL though (very nearly won it with Liverpool). The plate-smashing convict has no record in any credible league.

I doubt any EPL clubs will look at him due to their abysmal record in Europe.

I'd rather we just get in the best players we can and focus on trophies.
