  1. Years of inTimidation have worked wonders. It's more like a protection racket than bribary.
  2. Glad this season is over and done with. Another with a long list of disappointments. I'm glad the club have confirmed Ferguson's brief stint is over today.
  3. Speak for yourself. I enjoy watching that lot fighting amongst themselves.
  4. More telling is the yellow cards per tackle ratio: Celtc average 10.8 tackles per card. The closest team to them is Kilmarnock, with 6.6 tackles per card. Rangers average 5.9 tackes before a yellow is shown. Aberdeen are lowest, with 4.7.
  5. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/sport/25170617.rangers-explore-co-operation-deal-championship-club/ "It's claimed the Ibrox club could strike a deal to link up with the Kirkcaldy side under a new Scottish FA initiative. The proposal for the 'Cooperation System' was passed back in February meaning changes to the rules for players to move on loan from next season. As part of the new system, players will be allowed to move freely between their parent club and a co-operative club throughout the season."
  6. There's a Morroccan lad who can play up front.
  7. Move to Brazil with the old man or be his own man in Glasgow? One can't really blame him for taking the easier option. The sightseeing in Rio is considerably more pleasant than Glasgow, I'd have thought.
  8. If Igamane could look up, find a teammate more often and cut out some of the dribbling, he'd be a better central forward (actually playing him there might help cut out the necessity for the hopes above).
  9. In modern football, a striker has more to do than score goals. I'm hoping the new manager can bring some players in who score from other positions, plus Raskin has started chipping in more often. Being so reliant on one player to get goals has been part of our problems these past few seasons (particularly when he misses so many chances in big games).
  10. That'll be why there are clubs queueing up to buy him, obviously.
  11. Bad news: Hannover aren't going to take up the option to buy Matondo, so we'll be lumbered with him for another twelve months, unless we can find some other club daft enough to take him (he scored one goal in eight starts and was hampered with injuries over there).
  12. I doubt many clubs will be interested in Dessers. He can't hold the ball up, regularly hides behind defenders, falls over at the slightest touch and misses loads of chances. In the modern game, a forward's job isn't just to score.
  13. Raskin and Igamane are the only two players I hope we keep. First out the door should be Dessers, Propper and Jefte. I honestly can't stand the sight of Dessers.
  14. If you're struggling to make ends meet, you should be prioritising outgoings and a £65 t-shirt should be way down the list.
  15. Wearing a polyester t-shirt that cost a fortune and looks awful is just silly, regardless of club loyalty. I prefer to lull people into a false sense of security before unleashing my bigotry. 😀
  16. I don't like it but it's still much better than this season's shirt, which is the worst since those Diadora horrors back in the early 2000s.
  17. That's the new home strip on sale. £80 for an adult shirt and £65 for the junior sizes. It's good to have a plain home strip, although I'm not keen on the collar and the various sponsors are becoming increasingly unsightly.
  18. When two teams play in the same colours for over 100 years and in the last quarter of a century, both have been changing their strip design every year, it's safe to say that similarities are inevitable. At least if you don't like a strip, you only have to wait twelve months for the next one.
  19. Expecting another lacklustre affair. Europe excepted, this season ended in February and the performances have aligned with this. At least the weather will be good.
  20. I see the old 'we need someone with connections to Rangers/bring back everyone ever' attitudes are still prevalent. All a bit parochial.
  21. I don't know enough about most of the candidates to have a worthwhile opinion. I don't want Gerrard back and don't want Martin. As for Ancelotti, who knows how he'll do!? As always, we'll just have to trust those in charge of the appointment and hope for the best.
  22. I doubt the 49ers have a time machine, so the deal is done and Cortes is our player.
