I think the ref has been okay. We're not ahead because Balogun made a daft challenge and Kamara is too slow to clear his lines.

Hopefully that side can secure a victory but I have no doubt Thursday's match is the priority now.

Roofe was hugely important in our three wins against St Mirren, Braga and the scum. In an ideal world, we wouldn't need to play him thrice* in seven days but with Morelos out, we don't have much choice. *Good Hawick word that isn't used much elsewhere - please excuse my peculiarities.

I think those stats only count missing because of injury, so suspensions wouldn't be included.

From a logistics point of view, the final venues are decided well in advance and the local tourist trade will be banking on it. There's no way UEFA will start changing venues, at the last minute, based on the finalists. I'm sure the Spanish police will be delighted if it's an all-British final in Seville. 🙄

I actually thought the stadium would be quite a bit bigger than 42k. Rangers, Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham are all capable of taking 30k+ there. I doubt Leipzig could muster more than 10k. Flights and hotels are already at a premium.

I'm more concerned about getting to Seville than the price of the semi final ticket.

A couple of VAR checks during the EL matches have resulted in myself and fans around me asking, "What's going on?". I think it'll temper goal celebrations somewhat and that takes the single most exhilarating moment out of being at a football match.

VAR certainly hasn't ended debates about decision making in England.

Why would that wind them up?

We've won some really big matches with GvB at the helm. The problem has been the more run of the mill stuff and dropping points against the likes of Ross County and Motherwell. There's no way Rangers will be sacking him at the end of the season, even if we win nothing, so we should get behind him.

Considering the things that have occurred at that disgusting club, I think that is pretty low down the list of things to pull them up for. They have facilitated and then covered up the sexual abuse of young boys (by multiple participants), as well as providing a platform for the support of proscribed terrorist organisations.

Calvin Bassey and John Lundstram really get it. I love seeing that. They both have terrific Christian names, of course.
