There's a justifiable arrogance when it comes to English club sides, granted. Paul Scholes really over-egged it though - he made it sound like it was going to be a piece of piss for the rags. Hopefully City rub salt into their wounds on Saturday night.

I recall Villarreal were unable to beat us in last season's EL group matches. Always enjoyable to watch the Stretford team lose out on trophies - horrible club. The pre-match feel from BT was that Man Utd already had the thing won, which seems to be a regular problem for English pundits/commentators.

Nice to see the hippy nationalist, nanny state fanatics being hoist by their own shoogly petard.

Mackay's dodgy texts made derogatory comments about Jews, the Chinese and referred to a list of potential signings as lacking 'white faces' (as well as some generic sexism). At no point did he single out the Slavs. Regarding Kudela, I suspect his career will now take a steep downward trajectory, as a result of his stupid behaviour.

Update! The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project Donation.

£1,690 you say? ? -
In my lifetime, I think Rangers played our best football under Advocaat - those first two seasons we looked incredible. Given the finances available to him and his ability to bring in Dutch talent, that shouldn't be surprising and as Bill said, we probably should have done better, albeit our showings in Europe were decent.

I reckon the rags will win 3-0 but hope I'm wrong.

It'd be interesting to note the ethnic demographic differences in the constituency Humza represents and the constituency he chooses to reside in.

I was quoting Andy Mciver, who wrote the Herald article.

Thousands of Inter Milan fans are currently gathered outside the San Siro (with flares and fireworks). I wonder if Italian politicians and press will go overboard with condemnation. https://www.barrons.com/articles/inter-milan-fans-celebrate-serie-a-title-outside-and-inside-san-siro-01621776915

Not to mention the company he was a Director of losing over £200k of public money. The guy is a joke.

"When Rangers clinched their first league title in a decade, a couple of months ago, I wrote in this newspaper’s daily sister title about the shame I felt as a fan; how disappointed I was that the club had failed to do what it could to prevent fans gathering outside Ibrox to mark the triumph." What a sad git.

Yousaf has abused his position of power, to an extent but I'm doubtful he can be prosecuted for anything he Tweeted. The creature that wrote the article for the Evening News just appears to be a very bitter, entrenched Irish/Scottish nationalist (I could use another word for this type) but I doubt she wrote anything that would result in a conviction. Hopefully Rangers taking action might make these foul people think before spouting shite in future (don't hold your breath).

It is all rather odd. Sticks and stones don't break my bones but words are very scary.

Are Daily Record links not banned here?

Was there a game on today?

If UEFA decided to take the Euro matches away from the SFA, then I'd view that as a major plus point from last Saturday.

Maybe we could bring in strict liability for MPs when their constituents misbehave. Or when they actively encourage their constituents to impede UK law enforcement. I hear Govanhill is relatively crime-ridden these days. -
I tried and failed to get a ticket, so watched it in a pub close to Easter Road. It all seemed a bit flat until the last few minutes ...I can't remember anything after Motherwell's second goal went in.

Them calling us Huns really started when Archer wrote that piece about the CWC Final in '72. Football rivalry has become a problem for those who run the game nowadays, it's a deeply unpleasant sideshow and our rivalry with that lot is an extreme example, due to the religious/political nature of it. Do grown men really get upset about getting called a nasty name? Surely not. It's a pantomime and we are definitely the villain. -
Humza likes to throw a metaphorical grenade and then run away. It's no wonder he's a yahoo.

Humza is similar to Trump in many ways. A provocative Rent-A-Tweet.

I'll need to re-read the list of 'protected characteristics' and get back to you.

That's probably a Hate Crime in Humza's Safe Space Scotland.
