I wonder how Morelos' career will go. I get the feeling he could become a superstar or disappear into obscurity. Either way, I hope Gerrard and Beale have a good plan for our first XI line up. Looking at our new recruits, I remain unconvinced.

I suspect they'll be in for an unpleasant reality check fairly soon.

I don't recall many managers saying they want to sell a player during press conferences. What Gerrard says publicly and the reality of our transfer policy are two different things.

Central defence is the only part of our squad that I don't have any concerns with. Goldson, Helender and Balogun all look very solid and Edmundson and Katic are more than adequate back ups.

Given the way Alfie is treated by referees and the Scottish press, I don't blame him for wanting out. It wouldn't surprise me if we don't see him play in a Rangers shirt again.

I'd like to think the scouting team are already seeking out a potential replacement for Kent. The English transfer market is totally over-inflated, so the money we could get for Kent might fund a replacement for him, fund the purchase of a dynamic midfielder and give us some profit, if we can find them overseas.

I was speaking to two blokes who have partners working at the Royal Infirmary and they told me the tests are a load of garbage - totally unreliable and if you test positive, just take another test and you'll be negative. Thankfully, they had masks and gloves on, were fully sanitised and we all remained 2m apart (aye right ?).
