I suspect our board are playing some kind of war of attrition. It doesn't look like it's working but no one can say for sure.

It's a tick-box publicly exercise really, isn't it. All clubs do it, which makes it generic and rather hollow - particularly when fs's post is taken into consideration.

I quite often turn the sound down when I'm watching football on TV. Football is far too over-analysed nowadays and the commentators and co-commentators end up blethering drivel half the time.

I thought we played some nice stuff today, particularly some of the short passing interplay in midfield. However, we also had a tendency to overplay at times and Jones and Ojo kept running into opposition players, which was a bit frustrating. Nothing to get too excited or upset about, in my opinion.

Has anyone ever had a bad word to say about Defoe? He seems very well liked by everyone, which is admirable in itself. He must be a great influence on his teammates. I really hope he helps us win the league (has he won a league title before?), first and foremost...after that, we'll see what's what. The only negative thing I have to say is that the 'Ooh baby, I wanna know' song is bloody awful.

You appear to have missed the bigger picture, which is odd considering the past eight years.

Ashley is to blame. Our board haven't handled the situation as well as they could have (King does seem to enjoy these disputes) but laying the blame entirely with them is incorrect.

Once a player's head is turned by the EPL, it's a struggle to keep them interested in matches at Hamilton and St Johnstone. Plus I don't think Rangers are in a position to turn down multi-million pound offers. Hopefully we keep Tav and Morelos but we have to be realistic about these things.

Determination to succeed comes as much from mental desire as footballing ability. I may be old fashioned but I don't want Celtc fans playing for Rangers.

Trying and succeeding are two different things. Particularly when you're up against someone like Mike Ashley. I think the board could've handled it better but they have tried to get shot of him. Fat parasites are difficult to get rid of.

I think you're being a bit harsh on the board, rbr. They're not perfect but they want what's best for Rangers. If we all stick together we can take on anyone.

I think our wingers have been and are generally pretty average. But we don't have a target man, in the traditional sense, so I don't think it's a huge issue. We need to break teams down on the edge of the box and Ojo and Arfield both look good at doing that. Although I think we need a more central, No.10 style, player still...but I've been saying that since we came up.
