  1. I did kind of think you might be overseas, so that makes sense. Apologies if my comment seemed argumentative.
  2. Here's a snippet from the BBC article about the Brazilian striker... Brazil forward Marta wants to use her record-breaking status to "push for more equality and women's empowerment". The 33-year-old scored her 17th World Cup goal in a 1-0 win over Italy on Tuesday to become the all-time leading scorer at men's or women's finals. "The feeling is a joyful one, not only for breaking the record but for being able to represent women in doing so," she told BBC Sport. Brazil's win puts them through to the knockout stages in France. Marta's second-half penalty moved her ahead of Germany striker Miroslav Klose, who scored 16 goals. "All the teams here, we are all representing [women]. Let me be clear, this is not only in sport."We are trying to represent women and show how women can play any type of role," she said. There you go. That sums up modern (third wave) feminism to a tee. A woman scoring a few goals at a world cup is suddenly going to empower all women and bring about worldwide gender equality. Bollocks!
  3. It's been available to buy in the shops for a few weeks. How much more 'revealed' can it get?
  4. The modern BBC is becoming a bit of a joke. Stuff paying their wages.
  5. Batman has worn pants over his leggings (Adam West) and had nipples on his suit (George Clooney), so I'll refrain from taking fashion advice from him. We had the best season during my life with one of our worst ever home shirts (92/93).
  6. Another indication of what a twat he is.
  7. I said something similar to the Hearts fans at my work.
  8. I'd avoid hang gliders and yellow ribbons.
  9. It's too shiny and the collar doesn't look right. The Hearts shirt is far better.
  10. Quite simply, the likes of Aribo and Edmundson are the sort of players we are signing with a view to making a big profit at a future date. It's where we're at due to our recent problems and the country we play in. If we want to just sign proven players from big clubs, in good leagues, we're going to require a suger daddy and that looks extremely unlikely.
  11. Poppycock!
  12. Lennon seems to pride himself on looking slovenly, disheveled, slightly unhinged and allergic to dentistry. One can only imagine the nick of him if he hadn't earned a good wage as a footballer.
  13. That looks pretty spot on, Rousseau.

King: "This is an inclusive and diverse club...".
  15. This thread (and hundreds of others, on similar subjects, across various Rangers forums) sum up Rangers fans, sadly. A fat git gains a a stranglehold on our retail profits and we start arguing amongst ourselves.
  16. It was when Green & co got involved that we signed up with Ashley. Since King took over we've been trying to free ourselves of the fat parasite but it's proving immensely difficult. The fact that Green, Whyte, Imran and Llambias (and all their pals) have all gotten off with it all still irritates me greatly.
  17. It's almost indisputable that many Celtc FC employees were aware of the abuse at their 'separate entity'. Scottish investigative journalism is non-existent when it comes to this potentially huge story - which is deeply concerning. Child abuse is a horrendous crime and ruins lives.
  18. She has summed it up very well there. And I must say she is showing remarkable restraint, under the circumstances. I've always hated Celtc but now I find them utterly repulsive. The SNP aren't far behind.
  19. See if an irritating Irish rugby fan talked crap like that about Scottish and English football, in the pub, then you'd just laugh it off. But as it stands, we're paying his wages!
  20. Hopefully we can move Holt and Halliday on with our best wishes.
  21. In the past we've had the likes of Oleg Salenko and Joey Barton come in, with high expectations and been disappointed. Then we've signed the likes of Kamara and Morelos, with far lower expectations and been delighted. As Bill said earlier, wait until they play for Rangers before passing judgement.
  22. I don't get the fuss about fixtures. We are Rangers.
  23. Partick Thistle have a rainbow on their new away shirt, in order to represent the LGBT community. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48679183
  24. I think Aribo and Edmundson could work out very well for us (providing we get them both).
  25. Gibraltar is an overseas territory and Kosovo isn't recognised by the likes of Russia, China and India (rightly so). Hopefully the first two opponents are comfortably dispatched and we can get back to playing more recognised European football clubs. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the away leg, if Cork get through.
