  1. Gillingham have signed Lee Hodson.
  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48566033 He refused to manage them against Kosovo (two Red Star players also refused to play). I'm on his side.
  3. I think it was deliberate but more because they panicked and (mistakenly) thought it would be a lot safer if the large, drunken crowd dispersed. I'm not sure holding two clubs, run by Arabs and Americans, responsible for the actions of a Police chief is worthwhile.
  4. It's 'chavs' in England. Some lads like a scrap and drink usually exacerbates this, hence they get even more animated when abroad. A bit like some of our own in Manchester 11 years ago.
  5. Throwing plastic chairs is de rigueur in many holiday resorts. I blame The Football Factory, Sergio Tacchini and Shadwell Utd FC.
  6. We played Marseille last year. Pre-season friendlies are all about getting the players match fit and giving supporters a chance to see new signings. Because of how early our season starts (EL qualifiers), it's difficult to get glamour ties. I might go to the Marseille or Blackburn match. Always nice to get back to Ibrox, particularly after a Summer with no football.
  7. Only another couple of months to go! Or one month until our first friendly. It's a good feeling actually looking forward to the forthcoming season! Hopefully any new signing will make it even more exciting .
  8. Sturridge is a class striker, when fit. The fitness issue and his wage demands will see him go elsewhere. I'm still concerned about bringing in more creative players, specifically a No.10.
  9. It's all your fault for not feeding us endless rumours. Show two Rangers fans a plain white wall and eventually they'll find something they see to argue about.
  10. Laudrup was a joy to watch in a Rangers shirt. When you look at our squads these past few years, the days of Laudrup and Gazza seem like a very distant memory.
  11. When you see the interest the Chinese have taken in Italian football and clubs like RCD Espanyol due to Chinese involvement there, it seems like a good market. Not really my cup of tea but you never know what might come of it.
  12. Did a song at a football match ever actually hurt a single person....EVER? Because the paedo ring at Separate Entity FC ruined quite a few lives and resulted in at least one suicide. And has Tom English ever paid to get into a Scottish football match?
  13. SG's signing record has been decent but there have been flops.
  14. Polster is an unknown and Flanagan has nowhere near the footballing ability Tav has.

    New Strip

    I'd ban you for that.
  16. I take it you weren't at Ibrox when Annan beat us? It was a terrible match last night though. Both teams seemed tired, lacking ideas and several top players had off nights. Origi looked truly awful, apart from his goal.

    New Strip

It's just Rangers. RFC - Rangers Football Club. Grown men really shouldn't wear football shirts unless they're actually playing football, in my opinion. Old, pre sponsored shirts, get you off.

    New Strip

I'm not a fan of the new strip. The new Hearts top is better and it also has Save The Children as a sponsor, which should surely make any yahoo wince.
  19. The chickens appear to be coming home to roost. Celtc seem to have been completely devoid of intelligence by suggesting the Boys Club was a separate entity at one point and subsequently admitting to conducting an investigation into that separate entity. Why would one organisation conduct an internal, secret investigation into a separate entity? One can only hope justice prevails. Let's face it, Separate Entity FC don't have quite the wealth of their mother church and are easier pickings for journalists (with integrity) and legal eagles.
  20. It started when Stein booted Torbett out of a separate entity. Changing the name of the separate entity, a couple of years ago, set the current board's agenda in motion.
  21. We just called it juice where I'm from. Or fizzy juice if we had a moment to spare. I remember folk mentioning 'ginger' when I was at Rangers games and wondering what the Hell they were on about. I used to laugh at my English cousin for calling it 'pop'.
  22. Gin was first introduced to Britain when that Dutch bloke became king. Hopefully an omen of what is to come...
  23. Liverpool have a better team but I have a feeling Spurs' name is on the cup. They should never have beaten City or Ajax (after losing the first leg at home) but they did. 2-1 Spurs.
  24. A more pertinent question would be why on Earth did we bring him back?
  25. Aston Villa's motto is 'Prepared'.
