Not exactly an objective set up. Two Rangers detractors with bells on.

I'd prefer not to be placed in Derek Ferguson's shoes. He had the potential to be a good player but opted for the high life and since he hung up his boots, he's been nothing but a snivelling git. We've yet to prove we're a class above Aberdeen. They are, ultimately, an irrelevance though, so let's disperse with posts that suggest they are, in any way, our rivals.

I've said it already but we need to collectively threaten to withdraw our licence payments. Only then will those 'London bubble' BBC ostriches take any note.

PacificQuay CSC is quite a different beast to its Southern HQ (which has its own questionable past and present but for different reasons).

We're below Hearts, Celtc, Livi and Killie and on equal points with Hibs, in the league. We couldn't beat a poor Aberdeen side and our recent record against Hibs isn't much to shout about. Until these things change, there's no point appearing boastful.

Just back. Disappointed but not disheartened. Kent was our best player. We lacked cutting edge but the effort was good. It felt like the crowd was waiting for a goal to get going and the players were waiting for the crowd to drive them on (neither happened).

I steer clear of the phrase myself but there's an extensive list, dating back around 1,700 years, of reasonable arguments against that particular sect of Christianity. The current pontiff is neither here nor there. Only in Scotland is anyone ever pulled up for criticising it. And yet we all pay for its state funded schools, which is one of my main gripes. The Romans domesticated and diluted the teachings of Christ to suit their own agenda. The sheer decadence on display at the Vatican is an abomination. The Inquisition. The brutal way the likes of Jan Hus and the Huguenots were dealt with. Gallileo. The refusal to translate the Bible, to ensure people remained uneducated and unable to make their own minds up. A general inclination towards not taking responsibility for one's own actions. The Nolan Sisters. The more recent cover ups of horrific industrial scale abuse seems to be ongoing. I agree with craig and buster that it's best to deal with these things in a coherent and intelligent manner but a supporters bash isn't a likely place to encounter such methods and I won't be losing any sleep over it.

By and large, Rangers fans have stopped that add-on at matches. Some of you seem to want to take that further, into private functions, which are put on by Rangers fans for Rangers fans. A self-imposed Bear nanny state, of sorts. Of course, that is never going to happen and unfortunately, with modern technology and social media, there'll always be a daftie who films and shares.

Would a non-'decorated' player be allowed to say it? Either way, it's pretty tame going at a supporters function. Durrant is no longer employed by Rangers and he's entitled to his own opinion on whatever he sees fit. The Tims would love us to just stick to football. That way they can run the country, the press, the education system, public transport etc. I'm not suggesting that saying FTP is a way to combat this but we need to stop doing what we're told. Obedient little boys never change anything.
