  1. I tried to get a ticket for today's match but wasn't successful. I'm quite glad. Football on these pitches is always crap.
  2. Rich bloke takes advantage of his status to (try to) pull women shocker! I said we shouldn't sign him again. The lad is a bozo and only performs for his own benefit. Oh well...
  3. Teams in Scotland generally up their game to play us, so their matches against Dundee are largely irrelevant. We have been disappointing away from home - no doubt about it. That needs to change but until it does and while we lie sixth in the table, I'll refrain from being anything other than hopeful.
  4. The narrator says, "Eight seasons since they witnessed European football...". Did he forget last season (I know we all want to but...?). We refer to ourselves as Glasgow Rangers in a couple of songs (syllable requirements) but it's usually only foreigners and QPR fans who refer to us as that in speech. We have two club crests and neither of them mentions Glasgow.
  5. I just checked the league table and wish I hadn't. If we win tomorrow, we go joint fifth. We need to win tomorrow.
  6. Given our recent form against teams from Luxembourg, we might be better off staying where we are.
  7. I can always rely on you, Bill, to make clear my rather subtle implications. ?
  8. I don't think any resignation letters have been submitted or investigations have commenced. There's certainly been no reports of such occurrences. I can't say I'm surprised. Dornan and Aitken will slink into the shadows, in the hope that it's soon forgotten. But they will remain in their posts. Tims (Celtic fans) have a tendency not to take responsibility for their mistakes or crimes. One wonders where they picked up this trait (I'd wager the state funded faith schools we all pay for do their bit). A penchant for victimhood is something our rivals share with the SNP.
  9. I just read another one of Dornan's emails. It seems, as well as doing everything in his power to halt the fan zone, he also suffers from illiteracy. He uses 'their' instead of 'there' and his use of punctuation and capitalisation are laughable. Well, it would be laughable if he wasn't an elected representative. As things stand, it's just downright disappointing and sadly predictable. Hopefully Scotland wakes up at some point.

    Semi Final

    Purely coincidence, obviously.
  11. Pittodrie means 'place of manure' in Gaelic. Parkhead was built on a former piggery, hence its nickname. Ibrox means 'badger den' in Gaelic. Crap, pigs or badgers ...I know which I'd rather be.
  12. I don't see my outlook changing much but I'll attempt to curtail the posts if I am becoming tiresome. When I read Dornan's emails, my blood began to boil. The SNP are a despicable bunch and they are doing far more harm to Scotland than they'll ever manage to do to Rangers Football Club.
  13. Nothing could be further from the truth. I haven't voted in a General Election for over 20 years. For the record, I don't think any of the parties will do Rangers any favours.
  14. I am reacting to division, not creating it. What suspicions do you have regarding my motives? My motive is simple, I want the Rangers support to be united against those who hate us.
  15. Hatred and criticism should be embraced by courageous men. Take it and learn from it. But when the hatred is supported by your own they need weeded out. Especially when the hatred comprises of poorly worded emails and tweets by incompetent twits. We didn't have these problems in our support prior to 2014. Divide and conquer is old but it works.

    Semi Final

This entire episode has made a laughing stock of the sheep support. They moaned about the early KO and that got moved. Now the club have even said they weren't expecting ticket sales to be this low. How many excuses do they need not to turn up for a cup semi final? Let's just laugh at them. I hope I get a ticket (won't find out until next week) but even if I don't, I'm quite happy that our support is getting a more deserved share. Let's face it, the sheep shaggers either can't be arsed, can't afford it or are scared of defeat.
  17. I don't see my support for Rangers in political terms, so to speak. But being a Rangers supporter and a Unionist go hand in hand. Do any other Scottish clubs fly the Union Flag so prominently at their grounds on matchdays? Do any other Scottish fans have several songs which relate specifically to being British? As for being able to stomach the company of Yes voting Rangers fans, I'd rather not. I've shunned the handful I've met and I doubt any of us are missing much. Stephen Dornan's emails on the FOI release are just another piece of evidence on an ever-increasing list of anti-Rangers actions by members of the SNP. I've had it up to here with their sheer hatred of our club.
  18. Is there one? If Rangers were just a run of the mill football club, we'd be similar to Partick Thistle or Queens Park. We aren't. If we're just a football club then all our fans from outside Glasgow are just glory hunters. Again, it's not that simple.
  19. That excludes SNP voters then.
  20. The bit where he refers to us as "the rangers football club" gives the game away in the very first sentence. That's a yahoo right there. Any Bears who vote for him and his ilk should be sectioned. Clueless imbeciles, each and every single one of them.
  21. “You must understand why this is of public interest because you have halted our pilot Fanzone, promoted a Fanzone at Hampden Stadium, approved the sale of publicly owned land to celtic to facilitate the creation of a Fanzone and approved a Fanzone for the Scott Brown Testimonial. Even the most generous interpretation of these actions leads to one conclusion; the SNP lead City Council has one rule of engagement for Rangers Football Club and a totally different standard of engagement for everyone else.” Well said, Stewart Robertson. I wonder when he'll be the subject of mockery for mixing politics with football...
  22. Blueforyou, without getting into the rights and wrongs of it, many Scottish Rangers fans are disinterested (for want of a better word) in international football. I am one such fan and all we really care about is Rangers. I fully respect your loyalty to your national side and as a fellow Brit, I always like to see Northern Ireland do well. With regards to Lafferty, I didn't want Rangers to re-sign him and don't think he has many admirable traits, other than being a half decent footballer. But he's a Rangers player, so most of us want to see him help Rangers back to winning the league. There's no need to have a go at other Bears or indeed this forum. It doesn't stink. There are, of course, opposing views on pretty much every matter but that's something we're all used to (I would've thought). Craig is a good Bear. Good luck to Northern Ireland and best wishes to our fans over there but Rangers come first for me.
  23. Katic looks a more solid defender than Worrell. In my opinion, he's the best central defender we have.
