  1. I couldn't care less what Lawwell or Chris Sutton say. They're nothing but a pair of attention seeking twats. Let's just focus on Rangers.
  2. And I had you down as a regular frequentor of the many gin bars that have recently sprung up, Scott7. The Spider's Web in Edinburgh (where the Union Jack bus used to pick up) is now a gin bar called the Jolly Botanist. I preferred it the way it was (rough and ready and reasonably priced). Oh well.
  3. We saw after the match at the Mel Tagliatelle stadium that quite a few of their players enjoy nothing more than beating Rangers. My advice would be to go all out attack - we have better players than them and timidity has done us no favours this season. I'd like to see us start with Grezda and Middleton again. We have a big few weeks ahead and a good start is important. 'Mon The Rangers!
  4. King Billy was largely responsible for introducing gin to Britain. It's a bit poncy nowadays but what the heck, why not!?
  5. Judging by the nick of most yahoos, soap and toothpaste would see them scatter too.
  6. I turned on Sky Sports News last night to check the Scotland score. I saw three yahoo players celebrating a goal and heard Lee McCulloch mention the Tartan Army and immediately turned it off. Thankfully, we don't have to put up with international football for a few months. Tartan Army....*cringe
  7. I hope they do take their allocation because I've already bought and paid for three exocet missiles to lob at them.
  8. Sky have ruined football. BBC Scotland ignore a large section of Scottish football's fan base (ie us). "Bollocks" is about the nicest response I can muster.
  9. Journalism is going the same way as the music industry. At the end of the day, future generations won't read newspapers. They'll get all their information online and that information will be fragmented and/or polarised. Not really a good thing but that's undoubtedly the way things are going.
  10. Always nice to hear about ex players who retain a place for Rangers in their hearts. Papac was ever dependable and seems to be fondly remembered by us all. Hopefully he can do us a (scouting) favour at some point.
  11. I'm not sure that inappropriately touching a woman warrants a prison sentence. I'm not sure this incident warrants a thread on here either. Gascoigne left the club over two decades ago and his troubles are well documented.
  12. Do kids still buy comics?
  13. Patrick Harvie brought it up. He was concerned about additional paperwork costing a few trees and stated we'd be best ignoring it.
  14. I don't recall suggesting anyone thinks throwing coins at footballers okay. I don't find it okay, myself. It's moronic.
  15. I shudder every time I see Rangers referred to as a 'brand'. As for tarnishing our 'brand', the press tarnish us whether we behave or not. You previously acknowledged that coin/cup throwing incidents must've been ignored by fellow fans in the vicinity of the perpetrator, so I fail to see why you are shaking your head in disbelief at my post. I realise online Bears are a bastion of moral integrity but some of us like to be honest at all times.
  16. Anywhere that has terracing and isn't built on the outskirts of town is good. The modern, identikit stadiums are all crap. My favourite grounds (that I have been to): Ibrox Stadium Highbury Somerset Park Links Park Brockville Special mentions go to Volksparkstadion (Hamburg), Craven Cottage and Hillsborough.
  17. If I spotted a fellow Bear throwing a coin onto the pitch, I'd either have a word with him or ignore it. The drama about coin throwing since the Lennon incident has been completely over the top.
  18. I was thinking more of goings on at an East End youth club that has no link, whatsoever...honest, to Celtc FC.
  19. Wood did the vocals (Lane and Rod Stewart recorded versions too but Wood's vocal was picked).
  20. I recall being at Pittodrie years ago and a few coins (flung by the sheep) landed nearby. I hadn't a time machine in those days, so I refrained from falling over, clutching my face and claiming I had been the victim of a sectarian attack. What was it Ron Wood sang, "I wish that I knew what I know now, when I was younger...".
  21. I think those tweets suggest he was bullied as a kid. Or maybe worse.
  22. Love the picture of him and Beckenbauer. Like a few Rangers legends, he's often in Bar72.
  23. Ian, Daniel Candeias walking past two St Mirren players after the Rangers goal could've started WW3. Then there was Andy Halliday inciting a riot at Cappielow. Neil is the poor, helpless victim here. Never forget that! A tiny coin can knock him over, for crying out loud - can you get more weak and feeble. #HelpForNeil
