  2. 5. On paper that looks a really strong 'reserve' team, would do well in the SPL. And one that has no players playing out of their natural positions. Must be a first team thing lol
  6. Ahhh that will be back in the days when we played full backs in the full back positions...I remember them well.
  7. Well i've stuck my £100 winnings from Saturday on Barcelona and Man Utd in the Champions league...gets me £233 back. Gonna see how far i can make the initial £20 go
  8. Aye, nothing worse than having an accumulator on and your early kick off one loses so ruining ur bet grrrrr
  9. Aye, punt Martin Bain, god knows what he brings to Rangers. Must be on a fair wage as well judging by his house.
  10. Well I won my first bet in yonks...Rangers, Arsenal, Everton and AC Milan...£20 on got me £96 back..woohooo....that £96 will be going on Man Utd on Wednesday night lol
  11. Reckon if Nani had developed as a fast as Fergie would've wished then Ronaldo would have been away in the summer. Thing is with Fergie, he has this knack of getting rid of players at the right time. There is no doubting the guys talent, his freekick at the weekend is testament to that, but his kicking out at players and that horrible little sulk he puts on when things aren't going his way are getting tiresome.
  12. So the rich get richer...and the poor try and flog their stars players for a pittance.
  13. The one shining light in this whole affair, and which has probably saved Murray from even more flak, is that Celtic never went out and made a big name signing during the transfer window. I don't know if it is their old 'biscuit tin' mentality, but they rarely make big siginings unless it is a reaction to one we have made, definitely seems to be the impression I get in recent times.
  14. What kinda of fees have you seen? I'd have thought Milan would be getting at least £250,000-£300,000 to turn up for it. Can't see them turning up for anyless, not as if they will be desperate for the work out.
  15. Because we pay the diddy's big money which they can never match elsewhere, mainly cos noone else stupid enough to match it...hence why we get stuck with them.
  16. Will blend in well with all the other donkeys down Blackpool beach
  17. Can see Walter going 4-1-4-1 with McCulloch in that midfield holding role and Charlie Adam recalled from the wildnerness for an Old Firm game yet again, with Miller the lone striker. Walter will go in with the mentality that if we lose we're 6 points behind...and with mountain to climb so will set up defensively i'd think. Would love to be shocked and stunned by him going 4-4-2 though.
  18. Lets face, think we can all pick the Rangers team for the Old Firm game already...and it will go something like this - ------------------------McGregor-------------------------- Broadfoot------Weir--------------Bougharra-----------Papac ---------------------McCulloch---------------------------- Davis-----------Mendes--------Ferguson--------------Adam -----------------------Miller-------------------------------- Walter Smiths probabable team i reckon grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  19. Yep...Boyd has scored in an Old Firm game...so there Pete :box: 5th of May 2007 to be precise, Rangers won 2-0. Boyds goal was actually also his 100th SPL goal as well. Not bad going really. Other goal was that cheeky Charlie Adam freekick that he put under the wall. See, he does have his moments :fish:
  20. I'm sure I'd read somewhere Jon that Websters been told he's free to find himself another club. Don't think you'll ever see him near the first team.
  21. Aye, knowing our luck with injuries he'd play against us, big Kirk would rattle into him, and crock the poor guy for good.
  22. The boy de jong they signed from Hamburg is no a bad player Gribz, one of the best young holding midfielders in Europe. Had no a bad partnership with Van de Vaart at Hamburg before he moved to Real Madrid.
  23. So thats the best part of £25 million for Wayne Bridge and Craig Bellamy???? Mental!!! I wouldn't give you £1.40 for Bellamy...wee fud!!!
  24. errr and why we interested in Sean Dillon extending his contract at Dundee Utd? lol
  25. Hate to say it but I think Mendes will go before Ferguson. Mendes has pedigree in England, unlike Barrys aborted spell at Blackburn, and seems to be wanted by a few clubs. Read that Newcastle have switched their sights to Mendes. On a side note, read that agent Willie McKay is angry with David Murray claiming that agents are causing unrest at Rangers due to all the transfer gossip. McKay claims he was instructed by Martin Bain to engineer a move for Barry Ferguson.
