  1. Not really sayin much. This image has becomes Ryan Kent in my mind's eye. I don't know why anyone would want him to stay given his end product. 217 total games 33 goals...that's a goal every 6.5 games...for an attacking player. 29 league games this year...3 goals. Good God he is so overrated. I pray that this team finally pull their head out of their ass about him. Let him go! He will be fine in the English Championship, or League One...doing that step over thing until he loses that trick with age in a couple years. Phew...needed to get that out for a while now. Thanks!
  2. As we used to say in the Air Force--SNAFU.
  3. McCrorie Tavernier Davies Barisic Jack Raskin Cantwell Tillman Kent Morelos-Sakala Whatya think of this? Don't just give it a buck snort (Syntax). Tell me why you hate it...if you do.
  4. Boys...I think we got us a Rangers player. Break out those guest crutches. Get that dude a plane ticket!
  5. My worry is this...you are always gonna find another guy who wants to try. If Rangers were handin out paper apps to fill this empty slot there would be a line to Partick. However, given our budget (small), our market (pathetically small), and our support (rabid, often illogical, often caustic), can we find a GOOD guy, no, a uniquely good guy? A transformational guy? I contend the club won't...so chances are..in three years we are gonna be right back here pissin and moanin. Because the overriding factors will not change. Rangers support don't want a director, they want a messiah...because in the end...only Jesus could fulfil all of our desires. Some shit never changes. In the end Wilson was a victim of his choices, and his conditions. I think NF, lookin in from the outside could see that a man attempting to work in a madhouse, is almost always doomed to failure.
  6. I think that would be a good appointment for them, and him. I quite like Naismith. He has the type of mindset one needs to manage.
  7. Now on to the next schlub who no one will appreciate either.
  8. A bit off topic. Are Rangers shares publicly traded? Exchange? I would love to throw a couple bucks into the team. I wish they still issued stock certificates...that would be worth the purchase price alone. Get Super Ally's sig on one. Frame that up...sheeeeeit son!
  9. Yeah, but wasn't that type of approach our driver for recruiting Wilson? Southampton are/were very well known for their own 'money ball' approach. Data analytics, hard stop on player purchase price, developmental profit model? This guy was the director of scouting there, and Huddersfield prior. I haven't walked deep in the weeds to verify specifics but it seems we already have that guy. Wilson is the head honcho and should shoulder much of the blame but his support structure may be in question as well. Particularly his recruiting, and analytics teams. Judging from the most recent past I will make this additional claim...I think one of the biggest problems has already exited the club...Gio. I think Wilson deserves more time.
  10. Man's a rabble rouser, full stop. Just like Sutton, and that dent domed, failed abortion Hartson. They exist to spew shit and annoy Rangers supporters. It's the pro-wrestling of journalism. Ignore.

Hopefully I Interpreted what Rousseau was stated correctly. It appears that one of the weaknesses of this non-traditional, 'fullback as a winger' system is the increased movement forward of those fullbacks. This movement out of their defensive position would seem to put a greater stress on the CB's to compensate. Which kinda explains a more mobile player like Davies...kinda. I think people are looking past our weakness there, and placing a lot of the blame on Tav. The man isn't The Flash, he can't be both places at the same time. I would honestly like to a see a Rangers squad where Tav is supported by TWO...not Goldson, and some adequate partner...TWO quality CB's. What was our record when a fully fit Helander was on the pitch? If Ever? I would not be surprised if our first big signing in the off season would be a +4M CB. Besides, Goldson is starting to show the wear.
  12. Kinda like this? Oh...but that is different because they are not 'Officials'. We all know that when someone is bestowed with the title of 'official' they are beyond the criticism of the rabble. Save the BS...thanks. Are ya really...astonished?
  13. Well, one thing we know will never change, regardless of result. Wes will still hold himself in the highest esteem. Wes loves him some Wes.
  14. I'd give old Larry Shankland a shot. The guy has a nose for the goal. It would have to be at a damned good price though. Probably something we won't get from Hearts.
  15. Subsidization perhaps? As long as it reduces overall cost. I am sure there are clubs out there who would swoop a guy like that up at 50% salary. Look at what's his face who is playin over in India...Stewart. He couldn't catch a cab in Glasgow. Granted he was a free agent, but deals can be cut. Greg Stewart ISL 2021-22 Salary The Jamshedpur club pays Scotland forward 3200 pounds per week in wages amounting to 166,400 in yearly wages. Footballer Greg Stewart Net Worth, Salary of ISL 2021-22, Stats, Wiki All You Need To Know (sportsunfold.com) Don't clubs do that all the time? The point is, it's a big world. If the team really wanted to move guys on, they probably could.
  16. Nothing shows cracks like the bright light of high pressure games against teams with talent. I am afraid my initial hunch with Davies was probably correct. Souttar is just a dumpster fire all round. I don't know what they were thinking...maybe there weren't. He will probably be injured tomorrow anyway...not wishing...but you know. Unfortunately we are stuck with these guys for a while.
