Boyd agrees Boro move

Recommended Posts

No they're not

I would've accepted him joining even the smallest of Premiership clubs, Blackpool or someone, simply because it was the Premiership but leaving Rangers to join a Championship club is an utter joke

He has joined them simply because their manager is Scottish and they are located as close to Scotland as you can get. His lack of ambition is pathetic imo. Even staying to win another SPL with Rangers would've shown more

The only positive I can give him is that the Championship as a whole is a big step up from the SPL. Brough aren't as big a side as either of the OF though. Nowhere near it. But they play in a better league.

There's no pressure playing for a team like Middlesbrough. They barely even half fill their stadium; in fact one of the stands behind the goal is totally empty every week. And their fans and chairman are notoriously amongst the most forgiving, least ambitious in the country

They were relegated because the chairman lost interest in improving the team and told Southgate he had to drastically cut the wagebill, leading to the sales of the likes of Yakubu, Viduka, Luke Young, Schwarzer, Woodgate etc

A nothing club

I totally agree with everything except for joining Boro because their manager is Scottish unless there's a quote from him saying that of course.

So, are we, Rangers fans unhappy because Boyd has signed for a "nothing club" or because of the amount of ex Celtic employees on their books the now?

Kris Boyd we shall miss your goals, we can only hope that someone can aspire to your glorious record of top SPL hitman, we wish you well in your future career, thanks for the memories. vuvuzela.gif

Loving the new smilie. How do you use smilies that aren't on the Gersnet database?

I'm delighted he's gone to be perfectly honest with you :D

Just confused at his choice of destination.
