I don't have any issues with the way he left, but will he be happy not being first choice? But the way we play without him is far superior most of the time and more fluid. Body isn't the answer in my opinion. Was last night not enough evidence that we have too many big strikers and they make a terrible pairing? Play Jelavic with Naismith or Fleck. We looked much more dangerous last night when Fleck and Jelavic came on. If we sign anyone it should be a link up striker/forward. But personally with Naismith and Fleck I really don't think that is necessary. Miller will be missed but we still have good numbers upfront with Jelavic, Lafferty, Naismith, Fleck and Beattie. If anything we still need a centre half unless Webster stays fit now, or a full back, but Broadfoot cant be far away from returning. I have enough trust in Ness and Hutton in the centre midfield to cover McCulloch, Edu and Davis. In the wide positions Weiss seems to be onto a game and the chap Kerkar could be done with a run. If it is Naisy then I trust they will spend the Miller fee on a midfield replacement - hopefully wide left! Yes he was a bit of a c&nt in the way he left, but with Miller away and no money it's a no brainer for me. Thoughts? No brain maybe.
