If you're happy that we're left with a bunch of 17 year olds in order that Craig Whyte picks up something for his 85% (total cost £1) then good for you.

 

McGregor, Davis, Wylde are not deadwood that needs removed they're valuable assets being given away for free.

 

Assets that cost approx £250k per month to maintain.

So what do you have in mind then? I'd be interested to hear it.

 

It makes economic sense to start with those whose contracts are coming to an end, then those will little or no sell on value not U21's on 5 year contracts and a sale on value.

That DOES make sense....but what if those players are unwilling to terminate their contracts???? Does it then not start getting messy...

I agree with this, but to achieve a saving of 1m pcm we would have to release our entire youth squad & still

have to release half the first team squad.
