The people who organised this meeting should be congratulated. A key item on the agenda is Q and A on the future of Rangers Football Club. It is difficult to see how that can be dealt with satisfactorily, unless there is a representation from board members. That seems unlikely. There is no way that they would want Stockbridge exposed. Easdale has consistently allowed Irving to do his talking so he won't fancy the prospect of being grilled. The new board members can say with some justification that they don't know enough yet. However, if our new CEO said that he felt that it was important to hear at first hand the views of supporters and agreed to turn up as an observer but not as a participant, that would send out a positive signal and such a gesture would get him off to a good start.
