At the end of the day, only the next few weeks or months will tell us how "serious" any cash issues are. What we have is speculation on speculative figures and assumption based on that.

Speculation or simple maths? I'd go with the latter.

Maths based on what, speculation? Methinks we have at least 4 different numbers on renewal ST sales, all backed up by people in the know. You know which faction likes certain figures more. For the media, the horror scenario sells best.

In the review Wallace stated that should ST sales prove to be significantly lower than expected, they will offer 43m shares to current shareholders. Now the Easdales are assumed to have gone to London based investors and asked for money. Doing simply math might tell you that there indeed might be a current shortfall of cash. At the end of the day, that remains speculation though. Ony time will tell what is required.

First, it will probably be a share issue announced at the sametime as ST shortfall.

Second, they could use that money to finance running costs (won't last that long/months) or in good part finance pay-offs, scrapping of contracts to get the costbase down.

Easdale voting block, friends and associates would want any (onerous) contracts they have an interest in to continue or to be settled favourably.

If contracts continue Easdale&Co would be interested in Rangers staying solvent to keep milking the club. If they don't the assets will go sooner rather than later.

No it's not based on speculation. It's based on an understanding of the accounts and cashflows of the business.

You obviously don't have that as you refused to accept that we had problems when the Ticketus loans emerged. that also wasn't speculation. It's not speculation that the club has not repaid the loans.

If there is a share issue, it doesn't take away from the fact that we currently have financial issues.

Well, he's still the Easdale family spokesman so there's no doubt his commitments will overlap.

He shouldn't be joining them on Rangers business. That's a bit like taking your dog into a meeting work.

Of course but given Sandy seems to know about business he's not supposedly on the board of then I think we're asking too much for separation in PR terms.

It raises the old question as to who is running the business the CE or Easdale?

Strategically, I don't think it is either Wallace or Easdale.

Wallace has little meaningful independence and Easdale will be getting instructions from those within his voting block.

There seems to be two main power blocks regards strategy, Easdale&Co and Laxey with the former probably holding sway.

It's how spi.vs like the support to be.

They are probably pleasantly surprised at how easy it has been.
