It was bumped by one of the FF admin ghost accounts. One has to wonder why they didn't have the baws to put their own name to it.

Oh I bet it was , they have never forgiven him for having the balls to stand up to Mark D over the chequegate affair with RST funds

That is your opinion and you are welcome to it.

I will say that if you stand for an election, you can't pick and choose the information that may come out.

Nor was the thread linked originated with this election in mind, as it was from 2 years ago.

This sort of shite does you no favours either, I'm afraid. For someone who sees this venture as a sham, why, other than personal vindictiveness, are you taking such a keen interest in who doesn't get on it?

Would you have the guts to go to FF and post a link to a thread discussing some of Dingwall's past indiscretions?

Do you know what Alan Harris does for a living , and the responsibilities that that job entails , do you also know that John Bennet fully accepted the concerns Alan Harris brought up and informed him that he had already decided not to invest of his own free will , and do you also know that he invested at a later date and was actually one of the requisisioners , to blame Alan Harris for this is 100% totally and factually wrong

I'm well aware of the story, thanks, and as such I called it as I saw it. If you don't agree, that's fine by me.

I don't look for favours, nor am I up for election.

Nor do I know after a fair while spent on FF, which are 'ghost accounts' on FF as you seem to.

You are right in that I do see the fansboard as a sham but it does seem to be happening and I would prefer that Alan Harris wasn't elected for personal reasons previously detailed in thie thread that go beyond what is contained in the FF thread.

This isn't about me though, so you can drop the stuff directed towards me.

You'll note that I didn't post in the FF thread, unless perhaps you know of "ghost accounts" I have, that I am unaware of.

I merely asked you a question, and of course you are quite entitled not to answer it.

I made a post earlier bemoaning the petty infighting that goes on within the support and your reply was "I understand and share the frustration."

Seriously, ffs?

As a Rangers supporter who has been attending well over 90% of our games for nearly 30 years now, a RSC member for 25 years, 15 as secretary, a member of the RFWG committee, is it right that I can have no say in this farce of an election as I chose, for the first time in well over 20 years not to have a ST this year as I did not trust the board (correctly it seems) with my money, and I refuse to pay them a vastly overpriced £25 to be a "member" for the same reason.

Perhaps I am exactly the type of fan they DONT want having a say in this latest club-sponsored one-way talking shop. Whilst I wish the best of British to the two gentlemen from here that have stepped up and put their names forward for this, I have absolutely no confidence in this producing anything other than a box-ticking exercise for the club board. Much like the Assembly before it in fact.

A Rangers membership is something I have advocated for a long number of years, but they have went about it all wrong, for the wrong reasons, at the wrong time. Pretty much like everything else this board has done to date.

I have a great deal of sympathy with your point of view.

I raised the issue of a "proper" membership scheme at the AGM some years ago and stared a thread about it on here last season.

I can give you an undertaking that if I am elected I will most certainly raise the membership scheme as an issue with the Club.

I would also reiterate what I said in response to Frankie yesterday that if I am elected and find that the RFB is just a talkng shop or "box-ticking exercise" as you put it then I will be the first to stand up and say so.
