Him passing is at the end is on these highlights but I must admit it didn't look so bad from this Camera angle. It looked far worse from the high camera. I may have made a mountain out of a mole hill. It actually looks like he was walking past because Halliday was in the way. He still doesn't look like it came totally from the heart though. It is about 20 seconds from the end. From the high camera it looked like he had ignored him.

This sort of thing really pisses me off. I'll give Waghorn the benefit of the doubt as I didn't see it, but if I was a manager and a player showed me petulance I'd simply punt them from the team until they wised up. Players should be man enough to accept it's a team game, and if they're dropped then as a professional they should be busting their balls to show the gaffer he can't leave them out.

I thought Waghorn looked fitter and sharper than he's been for a while

I personally don't think it is as bad as pete makes out. But pete wont be surprised I disagree with him.

I saw it happen and from my perspective Warburton hugged another player as Waghorn was walking past. It seemed to me that it was more a case that Waghorn didn't know whether Warburton was going to reach out to him too - Warburton clearly did and it all looked a little awkward - but I took it as being awkward due to timing rather than any deliberate attempt by Waghorn to show any petulance.

I watched it in real time pete from whatever camera RTV were using (which was from directly behind Warburton). From what I witnessed, as I have just said, it looked more like timing because Warburton was already hugging Halliday. Didn't look like petulance to me. You could be right about it coming from the heart, but it is hard to say given the timing.

One thing I could tell for certain though - Waghorn definitely didn't ignore Warburton - he actually kind of held back so as to be able to shake his hand.

He was only on the pitch for 15 minutes though :)

Not sure I would say fitter or sharper - but he clearly had a desire to prove himself - he was chasing absolutely everything down. Given his appetite and desire on Saturday - if he could show that week in, week out I would want him to stay. I still think he has a lot to offer - would like to see us starting with him as the main striker, even though Garner gave his best performance there on Saturday. I think Waghorn is a better finisher and there is no reason he cant be as physical as Garner because he is a monster of a guy
