Its a similar situation like we had with McKay. The problem you have now is that the Jambo support will no doubt turn on the player and keep questioning his professionalism up to the day he goes, not least should he sign a pre-contract in January.

 

The fee they want is ridiculous and IMHO they hope that Rangers won't pay it but some English Championship side will happen by closer to the end of the window (which in turn hands them less time to buy some replacement ... unless the money is going into the financing of the club anyway).

If Walker wants to come to Ibrox then he will need to put his career on hold...his shitty club won't sell him to us, they are waiting for another club to put in an offer.

 

It's sad the player has to make a life changing decision with a gun pointed to his head. If Walker wants to come here, he has spoken of his desire play for us, then he'll need to bite the bullet and wait til we get him for free next summer. No way should Rangers pay them £1m - No way.

 

He should remember what happened to Scott Allan. Walker should sit tight but get on with his game as normal. What Allan didn't do.

Hertz will sell. They can't afford not to.

Silvio rumour seems to be gathering a pace. But he only played 5 times for Wolves and seems injury prone.

On the basis of his games last summer for England he is more than capable. So in effect, we meet in the middle and see what PC decides, who sees him far more often than any of us.
